The best VR experience on PS4 so far.
This has to be the best VR game on the PS4 so far. Sad to know the studio that developed this gem is gone... You don't need to be into racing games to enjoy this game to euphoria. As a racing game, it's not hard, it's like a deescalated version of the normal Driveclub but with five extra bottles of fun. You will truly feel inside the vehicle and you will experience the thrill of battling against other cars at high speed. The scenery is amazing and plenty to enjoy for hours, days, weeks. Add a steering wheel and you risk losing your job cause you'll forget you had one. I have many VR games and I have no idea how they developed this game as it does not make me dizzy or sick. Other VR games suffer too much from this, I can barely handle 15 minutes of playing, but with Driveclub VR I can spend hours on end. I did get the American version of the game, and in great condition! Well worth the money. Since the studio that made the game is gone, and the game being out of the PS store, finding this game will be increasingly harder. I strongly suggest you get it while still available. Shipping was as expected and packaging was good. You won't regret getting this game, easily the best VR experience on the PS4. ... show more

I loved it. I played for 12 levels no problem
For me this game was a hit. I experience no motion sickness. The graphics are not as crisp as the non vr counterpart. But the feeling of immersion out weights this slight con. I loved it. I played for 12 levels stright no problem. It was fun engrossing. It felt real. The sense of speed is awesome. I used a thrusmaster t150 wheel. People complain about blurriness should calibrate the head set. Go to the ps4 settings and look for devices then look for the VR headset. For me the game was clear and crisp but just not as great as the non vr game. I would say it is ps3 level not ps2. If you love racing games it's a must have. I had no motion sickness at all. Update: 2/15/2018. This game is still wonderful and still fun. I like it just as much as Dirt Rally VR. Both fantastic VR games. I would recomend this game to anyone who love racing games. ... show more

such a great driving experience
I was one of the people that bought a ps4 specifically to play drive club. The hype was real, and eventually (a long time after it was due) there was disappointment. This game is different. I was truly excited about this game too, but reserved my expectations until after I was able to actually play it. I love this game. It's my favorite VR game so far. It's crazy looking over into the rearview mirror and seeing your competition creeping up. The first time you crash a car at 200 mph in VR will test your heart. This is not just a great VR game, it is a great driving experience. ... show more

Terrible, at more then 10 feet ahead of the car.
Looks good right in front of you in the car, but about 10 virtual feet in front of you is all burry, jagged blocks. You can't see corners coming until you are right on them. Forgot to mention, when you look around the car it's super cool, you can move your head to look in your mirrors or out your windows....but at a price. The price is feeling very sick. ... show more

Graphics are ok
I have never payed drive club before so I'm new to it. I recently got VR for my ps4 and I'm looking for any simulator games in PSVR. The graphics for VR is not as good as a normal non VR game but the immersive environment is so well worth the trade off. Having a semi feel of really being in the game is really the only way I want to play from now on, I'm hooked. This is the way video games should be. Sitting inside a car and having the feel of really driving is awesome! Being bale to look all around that just blows my mind. I grew up with Atari 2600 and when Nintendo came out that was mind blowing! Game technology has came so far! The graphics for Gran Turismo Sport VR is far more superior than DriveClub VR but that's not to say this game is not fun and worth it. I do like that you have levels and as you move further and accomplish more, more is unlocked. Although the graphics are interlaced and blurry at distances and interior detail and lighting is far from realistic that does not take away, it comes pretty close to looking real. Having the immersive environment of VR is worth the sacrifice of quality and once you play it long enough you kind of ignore the limitations. Put it this way its about the graphics of PS2 but with game play and smoothness of PS4. I have a GT29 steering wheel and it works great with it, no issues. I had the wheel on before I first launched the game and it automatically detected it and no setup was needed. I give it 3 stars just because the graphics are not as good a GT Sport VR and I was hoping it would be similar. ... show more

ON-LINE NETWORK IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE
I already had the non-vr version of this game and decided that since I have now a VR headset to take advantage of this release. It is very good , however there is no on-line community to enjoy races against anymore so the excitement factor of racing has somewhat diminished and it could lead to boredom and reluctance to play this game very often. But there are so many cars and tracks and comnintions that you can run with such as time of day and weather conditions that the possibilities for a vast number of unique races can be achieved without the on-line facility ... show more

VR does it!!
So vivid. I was waiting for this game after I tried it on Playstation Experience last year. And actually it exceeded my expectations. They added a lot of tracks, cars and modes. My favorite perspective used to be inside the car with the dashboard but this time around the one outside at the front bumper level is just nuts. So immersive and enjoyable. Recommended for car racer lovers despite the drop on details and atmospheric conditions for the vr version. 2 thumbs up. I wish they'll come with more content in the future. ... show more

think twice if you've ps4 and not ps4 pro
I feel like i've to write a review so expectation is managed. I knew PSVR is new tech, so I never expected perfect translation or crystal clear graphics. Most games have some level of blur and pixelation, and you count of the game play and immersion to overlook them. It's like the Wii when it first came out. It's not known for graphics, but the new way to play the games was phenomenal. With that said, the graphics on this game (running on PS4) are just horrible. For a driving game, you need to see the upcoming turns and apexes. Both are very hard to see due to the blur and pixelation. Even the dash is blurry. A few people already mentioned this. So if you've a PS4, think twice about buying it. It still can be fun once you get familiarized with the courses, though, so it's not a complete lost cause. I heard the PS4 pro patch is better, but i can't comment on that. I wonder if people with positive experiences are running on PS4 pro. ... show more
