Let’s get this out of the way: if you love first person shooters and have VR, do yourself a favor and get this RIGHT NOW. Why? It’s not hyperbole to say that the Aim controller enhances the games that support it. In fact, I would go so far as to say thy such a statement is selling the product short. The Aim adds a level of immersion I wasn’t expecting to find. When you’re playing VR (which in itself creates a unique experience) the Aim Makes you feel as though you’re holding a firearm. It has a a good heft to it, the trigger has a decent pull, and the design is phenomenal (and intuitive). The only downside to the controller is (for me at least) that, after long play sessions, my hand hurt from the front grip. Well worth the money in 2019! ... show more

This is a fun gun and it works good for used. Sadly it's got a mini usb charging port and those are always weird the older they get. Even my ps4 controllers are touchy so for used its a good product.

I wasn't so sure at first about the fit of the controller, mainly since it's ambidextrous so it's round and there aren't grips made into it for one hand or the other. Less than a minute into the game I forget all about that. It uses sticks like a regular controller, and the buttons you need in-game are all right at your fingertips, and arranged so that they make sense without stopping to look (I'm looking at you, PS Move motion controllers...) I've probably put in 10 hours of Doom VFR with this controller so far, so I haven't used it a whole lot, but through several sessions gameplay is seamless, and it's incredibly fun with VR. It really puts you right into the action, and there's a degree of challenge associated with using the controller to aim. It's a lot of fun. ... show more

Was hoping this would address the drifting problem I experience in FPSs with controllers. It not only doesn’t, it makes it worse because the range of motion is lower than with the smaller profile regular ps4 controller. So, effective aiming lasts 30 seconds or less and is. It always corrected by recalibration. ... show more

    • Research before buying!
I got excited thinking I could use this for PS4 games but I realized this is just a single component of a larger system peripheral, so please do your research before buying. That said, the item arrived fast and working although I cannot make use of it

    • Works mostly as intended but with tracking issues.
While, it works as intended for the PS VR, there are not enough games that require it which is a shame. The only problem I have with it is I am left handed and while it is supposed to be used for either hand the camera doesnt track very well when I try to use the conntrol as a lefty.
