Upon opening the box it was easy to tell this thing is cheap and flimsy. I have 4 aftermarket PS3 controllers but with a flat (not curved) top where the charger goes in. All 4 have little to no charge on them. I was able to get the controllers onto the charging port, however, only one would start charging (red not green light) and only when I held it in place with my hand. One thing is true, this device has the brightest LED light I have ever seen. I am returning and trying another brand since there really are not any other options. ... show more

I have another charger somewhere in in a container, somewhere in the garage. It's more than $10 worth of work to dig it out! So I bought this and it's not only perfect, but it's much smaller and charges faster than the other one. A+! PS You can get new use for your old PS3 controllers by pairing them with an 8BitDo classic dongle. I'm using this for raspberry pi, steam, xbox, you name it. Very cool! ... show more
