Achievement Unlocked: First Jokes aside, I was a bit nervous about purchasing a product that have yet to have any reviews. But seeing how the price of the official adapter have gone up in price at the time of this review and doesn't even come with a display port cable, I decided to take a chance with this 3rd party adapter. The adapter arrived on Dec. 8th, and my PSVR2 arrived on the 9th. The setup process took a few hours as I was troubleshooting why the headset would not turn on. After reading several reddit threads, reinstalling SteamVR and the PSVR2 app, then rebooting the pc and redoing the setup process while not jumping ahead of the instruction prompts given by the PSVR2 app (if you see a popup during the setup that tells you to "check your displayport connection", that can be ignored as long as you're getting visuals through the headset), I was finally able to get into playing some SteamVR games for a few hours with the PSVR2. The displayport cable that comes with this adapter does work, making this adapter a better value than the official adapter which is normally $10 more at around $60 and doesn't even include a displayport cable (at the time of this review being typed the official adapter is sitting at around $80). However I feel that it's a little too short for my needs, so I went out and bought a 6.6 ft cable from a local Staples store. ... show more

Plugged into a 7000 series ryzen system or a 10th Gen Intel system no issues after updating bios and drivers. Zero disconnect issues after hours of play. Make sure to plug into ports that support the specs the Psvr2 requires. Was pleasanrly surprised to see the casing made from metal instead of plastic. The adapter barely gets warm after extended play sessions. ... show more
