I was very pleasantly surprised to unbox and setup the ProtoArc foldable keyboard and mouse. These are meant to be used while traveling, so the keyboard folds down into a slim profile for easy transport. It's a lightweight pair you can take with you, without compromising on having a full keyboard layout that's comfortable to use. After unboxing these, I swapped them out with my usual desk keyboard and mouse to take them for a spin. The USB 2.4 GHz receiver is stored in a little compartment on the bottom of the mouse; once you pop that out and plug it into your PC, tablet, etc. you can switch both the keyboard and mouse over to 2.4 GHz mode. If you're using a device without USB A ports, you can also pair up to 2 Bluetooth connections. Both keyboard and mouse can be switched between the 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth 1, and Bluetooth 2 connections easily with buttons. I had no problems finishing the rest of my work day with these devices. I was really surprised by the high DPI that the mouse initially starts out at. You can switch between 3 DPI modes with the orange button on top of the mouse. The build quality on both of these devices feels very solid. The folding mechanism on the keyboard feels like it will last a good long time. They come with a nice storage/travel case to slip them back into to take them on the go. They both have internal batteries and have USB C ports to charge with an included cable. Having not tried ProtoArc peripherals before, I'm very happy to get started with their products and look forward to expanding my collection with their devices.

I liked this case as it had no issues connecting and even fewer issues using it. I liked how the keyboard was foldable and made it convenient for carrying & storing. You have choices of up to 3 devices that you can pair and connect to (2 BT and 1 usb dongle). The include case fits everything perfectly, except one of the guide inserts, but you can trim it and it fits in the case. The include case gives this set the biggest value as it fits everything you will need and has a handle for ease of carry. The biggest lack of function is a forward / back button on the mouse. I think as a mouse, its fine and overall the value is great, but the lack of it always annoys me in a mouse.

I request the ProtoArc Foldable Keyboard and Mouse, XKM01 Portable Bluetooth Keyboard Mouse. Designed, developed, functional and suitable for travel, it’s superb for the on-the-go user as a mobile work solution. Overall, this full-size folding keyboard, compatible for iPad, Laptop PC, and Macbook, capable of reducing its overall foot print, for ease of stowing for travel or field application. I travel for work or work in the field. I prefer to utilize a keyboard for my iPad and laptop applications. Although older, I arrived two wireless keys boards. The laptop was a 2.4ghz wireless Logitech and mouse combo, and th iPad pair with a BT keyboard (no number pad). I got this ProtoArc to reduce my need to pack both, when I am out in the field. I have full appreciation for the keyboards full-size functionality and its ability for transformation to be compact. Both the folded keyboard and mouse fit cozy in its accompanied travel case, and yet still roomy enough for cables, writing tools, note pads, or anything sized proportionately sized to fit. The keyboard performs extremely well. The connection is reliable and stable . The build is not quite the higher quality and solid build I was anticipating. It’s sill a respectable build, but am bit curious of its longevity overtime. The keys press with ease, and soft-touch, not clicky. The arrows, delete, home, end, PgUp, and PgDn, Insert, key is not traditionally placed. But understandably why. Overall, favorable for functionality, intent, purpose, and travel-wise ease of use. Great appearance as is sleek, stylish, and slender. Works perfectly and accommodating for smaller narrow spaces. The accompanying case is sturdy and provides great protection as a stand alone carry case, or substantially rigid to place into your travel case, carry-on, backpack, or tool-case. This is a a very nice travel and field work adaptive keyboard. There is good value here. I liken the travel-ability, transform ability, the provided protection, functionality. Well worth the consideration, i am still out on the longevity. But, its still a good recommendation.
