When open, this is a very large, rugged umbrella that would be perfect on a golf course. It is easy to open and close, and it should stand up to wind very well. The reverse folding will keep the place you lay it dry, but the water will be kept in so you will have to find a dry, inside place to leave it open to dry. The ad calls it a golf umbrella, and according to its open size it is. But most golf bags are built to hold a 3'-4' long umbrella. This folds to 15" tall and probably won't fit in your bag. It comes with a carry pouch and if you use a cart you can just throw it in. The 15" size makes it very useful for non-golf applications.

The media could not be loaded. To sum up my review you'll find beyond this sentence, if you use an umbrella GET THIS Prospo 62 inch golf umbrella! UPDATE: This can handle some very strong winds without any issues (beyond your arm getting tired), moreover it's a good thing this has a wrist strap as the wind tried to take my umbrella from me. Okay, so here is why I exclaim with such exuberance that this umbrella is so fantastic. This is a 62 inch umbrella offering a 51 inch coverage area, this is a standard size golf umbrella vs the tiny personal umbrellas. However unlike standard gulf umbrellas this packs down to the size of a personal size umbrella for super easy storage when not in use. This umbrella offers exceedingly fast full deployment by simply pressing the button on the handle, moreover this same button can collapse the canopy just as fast. This is super helpful when exiting or entering a car or building, as you can do this in limited space and very quickly get out of the rain super easily. Just to note this doesn't completely collapse as this utilizes springs only and as such does require a small amount of fiscal input to finish closing it, this is very simple and also very quick. To do this you simply close the umbrella by pressing the button, then you press down the top and bottom until it clicks and locks the center bar in place. The umbrella folds outward unlike traditional versions that let the rain go everywhere, these fold in such a way that you can set them with the top down to let it drain in that specific spot only. Moreover if you are going back out you can leave it with the handle down to trap the water and not make a mess (you will have to dry it at some point obviously). This comes with a carrying bag that offers two backpack type straps for super easy hands free carrying when not in use. This is a bit difficult to get the umbrella back in there but with careful pressure if you squeeze the umbrella just above the pouch it helps. Also be sure the umbrella is dry before you hook and loop closer it and pack it up, as once it's in the bag it will no longer be able to dry. This is very strong in heavier winds (something that frequently accompanies rain), this offers 10 mostly fiberglass ribs with metal parts in high stress areas. This also offers a vent flap of sorts that allows the stronger gusts to pass through as well as keeping the rain out, this keeps fairly taught to the umbrella when in use preventing splashback. Personally I had no problem vigorously thrusting the umbrella to try and get it to flip or close, however the umbrella kept its shape perfectly. Moreover this utilizes an upgraded micro-weave fabric that on top of offering superior waterproofing even in heavy rain is also notably quieter than others (this is usually due to denser higher quality material). In closing as I mentioned above, you should definitely get this amazingly upgraded self opening / closing umbrella especially at this fantastic price, you will pay about this or more for much less quality umbrellas on the market. I really appreciate you taking the time to read all of that, I also really hope this unfurls some answers to any questions you might have had. Moreover I truly hope you are currently and continue to have a wonderful rain free day, but if not at least you can have a rain free cover. -GhosT
