While a cool looking marker and the idea seems interesting, this is mostly just a novelty item. If you’re actually looking for a ball marker, go with a different option. This thing is thicker than any coins you can have in your pocket, and any other marker I’ve used in the past. Would not be effective on the ground if another ball tried moving over it. For the use of determining break on the green, also minimally effective. It was purchased as a marker with the idea the level would be a funny characteristic among friends. Don’t get this to rely on the level, and for use as a marker, 2/10. Otherwise it’s a great quality item built very sturdy. Worthless!! This type of slope reader is too small to get an accurate reading. Needs to be wider to measure the contour of a slope. The best device is a level--that's about 9" wide; hoping to get something smaller that could fit in my pocket but this was wasted $$$
