While a cool looking marker and the idea seems interesting, this is mostly just a novelty item. If you’re actually looking for a ball marker, go with a different option. This thing is thicker than any coins you can have in your pocket, and any other marker I’ve used in the past. Would not be effective on the ground if another ball tried moving over it. For the use of determining break on the green, also minimally effective. It was purchased as a marker with the idea the level would be a funny characteristic among friends. Don’t get this to rely on the level, and for use as a marker, 2/10. Otherwise it’s a great quality item built very sturdy. Tested, and is very accurate and could double as a ball marker as well. Since many pro golfers use a casino poker chip for a ball marker, but this one has an added feature, which is not allowed in the PGA but a friendly game it would come in very useful using the slope reading feature.

Sorry to say this was a disappointment. I was hoping for an accurate slope read but this little device is not even close to accurate. I also use a phone app which I know to be accurate as they are consistent with a level. I think either the device shipped to me was faulty or the size is simply too small to work on a green. Perhaps the shipper will send me another device to try and perhaps it will work? ... show more
