I really love these boots. I have post thrombotic syndrome (blood pools in leg and feet causing swelling) and lymphedema (more swelling in legs and feet). So I need a size 13 with a width of 6e. I tried over 15 different boots and these were the only ones that fit my feet comfortably and allowed me to insert my feet without pain. Have been using these for almost a year and they still fit and feel great. I have had no issues with durability and wear them almost exclusively everywhere I go (gym, hiking, camping, walking, etc.) I have put over 100 miles of hiking on this pair with zero problems. They are so comfortable to wear and protect my feet from injury. I haven't even experienced any blistering when new like other boots I have owned. I now own 3 pairs in different colors. Refuse to buy anything else. The boot version was also more comfortable that the shoe version. On the shoe version, the heel end of the foot opening was very rigid and painfully poked the back of my foot with every step. ... show more

Full disclosure, I have yet to break these boots in completely. They fit very true to size, and are extremely wide for those of us that have a very wide foot. That's a hard thing to find in a shoe these days, especially when you have a 14 and 1/2 sized foot. My one complaint is that they are quite stiff even after several dozen outings. And they are rather large, and the best way that I can think to describe them as clunky. They're not exactly overly heavy, but they're just bulky. With those negatives out of the way, they are wonderfully waterproof, they are roomy and comfortable for a person with a very large and wide foot, their stylish looking, and they manage to hold up well under rough wear and tear of a large person. I would recommend these to anyone else who has an extremely wide and long foot, and is looking for a nice waterproof boot to get through a winter. I'm hoping that they will loosen up a bit once they are fully broken in, but there's stiff nature is not enough to keep me away. I was reluctant on buying boots without trying them on. Reading the other reviews really helped me choose to buy. I wear 13 extra wide. Most shoes and boots are a compromise between comfort and style. These boots are fantastic. I do a LOT of walking at work. My feet have never felt better after work. When I have worn my other boots I couldn't wait to get them off. These boots receive my highest review. I have not had any issues with the eyelets or the laces as others have noted. If you have big, wide feet, fallen arches, and tired achy feet, buy these..... you'll be happy. 6 month update - they are wearing out. The inside heel is now worn through and both heels outer soles came unglued from the boot. They were re-glued, but went from 5 to 4 stars. 4 to 3 stars. Sole came off of the right boot. ... show more

I believe this is the 5th pair we have bought in the last 3 years! My husband being diabetic find these as the most comfortable shoe/boot that he has ever worn! Always had issues with rub/pinch points which created problems. No issues with these for 2 1/2 years!
