I’ve been using these for years with whatever sticks I use on my e-drums, because those sticks last forever (compared to playing on standard kits). So the investment in Rapps is worth it (no breaking sticks). Softens the blow the best. I have wrist rsi so I combine with Zildjian anti-vibe 7A sticks for the softest impact but pro feel. Add Promark gloves for max support when inflamed. If I had always used that combo I’d have avoided RSI…white is best as it doesn’t rub off. ... show more

Product does what it is supposed to do (prevent sticks from slipping out of your hands). Easy to apply to the drumsticks and no need to buy a heat gun. Provides a bit of cushion as there is some degree of thickness to the tape. I am satisfied with the product and would recommend to others

I have used this wrap before but in black. They work well, the only reason for 4 stars is this time is I ordered blue and it leaves a blue residue on your hands. Wont buy this color again.

One order of Stick Rapp covers 2 pairs of sticks. The rapp stays in place, cuts out vibration to my hands, makes the sticks more comfortable to hold, and prevents slippage when hands are damp or sweaty. I was recently at a pipes and drums event that was super hot and humid. While others were wiping their hands all over their kilts, my sticks were firmly under control. If you’re wondering how fast it wears out, it would really depend on how much you’re playing and what kind of intensity you’re playing with… And probably what kind of environments you’re playing in. I do a fair amount of outdoor playing, in all weather conditions and temps. I put this product on a pair my sticks a few years back, and although use has been light, today I had to remove the rapp from the sticks. The exposed checkered pattern directly held by the hands has completely disintegrated down to the cloth they were adhered to, and has become quite messy in my hands/ over my kit.
