    • Good for refurbished but still had issues.
Very clean and seems to work pretty well. Quiet enough to use in home. Downside that I'm not happy with and kinda frustrated about is that it says Dell PERC H330 Raid Controller. Big part of me was getting it for the RAID functionality but it came with HBA330 firmware so can't do raid and no way to revert to H330 firmware without risking the controller so went and bought a new one. Pretty good value but missing Memory CPU Cooling Baffle Shroud and there is no option other than return the entire unit for refund! You can buy one on eBay for about $15.

I received the 10 bay model instead of the 8 bay shown in picture, bonus for me! Also, it came already updated to enterprise license! Of the 2 empty bays, only one had a blank in it, not a problem for me I am adding drives to those bays anyway. System was clean and had no more than normal wear. I'm happy with my purchase and will buy from them again if I need another server! ... show more

Purchased three servers r630, two out of the three servers work great, one server the BIOS was bad will not boot in to Lifecycle managers to configure system, this should of been checked prior to shipping, I will see if I can flash the bios and report back afterwards. Item arrived in create condition, seller is clearly a pro. packaged in appropriately sized box made of double wall cardboard. Not the original box or foam dells typically arrive in, but possibly better. Zero issues with the unit, all tests passed 100%. very pleased. Considering another!

    • Good server so far .... Drive Caddy Issue
Everything with the server has been good so far. No complaints there... but I do have issue with the drives included. Not so much the drive itself but who in their right mind would screw on the drives so tight to the drive caddy. I stopped attempting after realizing it was stripping it . Looks like I will have to order some so I can use my drives. ... show more
