  • ROCK HARD
Color: Black Style: Rebound 5B
Best sticks ever.!!

  • Great drumsticks!
Color: Clear Style: Rebound 5A
Bought these for my practice pad. The Activegrip coating is tacky enough. I also have a pair of 2b sticks in black, and they are a little tackier than the orange/clear coating. So, if you like just a little stickiness, you may want to go with the orange/clear coating over the black. Both colors look cool, too. I am also learning traditional grip, and these sticks don't slide around in my hand like non-coated sticks. ... show more

I'm now a Rock God, because of these Sticks.

  • Best Drumsticks Ever
Color: Black Style: Rebound 5A
I got these because I kept dropping my sticks during practice. I have never dropped these. They have just enough tack to stick to your hands. The only drawback is that when you use them to do rim shots, you are using a rubberized surface so the tone is not quite as bright. Highly recommended nonetheless. ... show more

  • Amazing grip for metal/fast drumming
Color: Black Style: Rebound 7A
I ordered this product because I consistently had an issue of dropping my sticks as I played for longer durations due to the speed of playing as well as the sweat build-up. These sticks completely solve that issue and enable me to play as fast as I need to without worrying about losing my grip. Phenomenal product, 10/10 would buy again. (in fact these are my go-to sticks) ... show more

  • Thicker than my normal sticks, but I like the feel
Color: Black Style: Rebound 7A
I normally use Promark TXJZW (Elvin Jones signature model with wood tips), but despite a lifelong love of thinner sticks I felt the need to experiment with something thicker. These are .535 inches versus the Elvin Jones model I had been using, which come in at .512 inches. Still, these felt good in my hands. If you are expecting the same style of non-slip finish that Regal Tip touts, you will be disappointed. However, it's superior to the finishes in the older Promark models. Normally when I play my left stick tends to slide away. I am a traditional grip player, so that probably makes sense. Not so with the ActiveGrip finish. What I like is it's non intrusive. You don't even know that it's there, unlike the Regal Tip and some of the dipped finish sticks on the market. Also I was impressed with the overall feel. These are definitely designed for traditional grip players. Or they feel that way to me. In fact, the feel - except for the diameter - is very similar to the Elvin Jones model that have been my go-to sticks for decades. That brings me to the rebound part: these sticks seem to have the same rebound characteristics as the Elvin Jones. I compared them side by side and the stick geometry of both (except diameters) look very close to the eye. Also, like my Elvin Jones model and unlike most other 7A models from other brands, including Promark, these are a fill 16 inches long, Again, perhaps that has more to do with engineering in the rebound characteristics and not making a shorter stick unduly fragile due to the taper. Bottom line: I like them. I will need a lot more time before I would consider switching exclusively to this model, but I am not ruling it out. ... show more

  • Grippy
Color: Black Style: Rebound 5A
These sticks do get grippy when your hands heat up and work as advertised. My only complaint so far is that I have bought this pair and the Mike Portnoy signature series from Pro Mark and both times I have one tip chip/break in half within the 1st 2 hours of taking them out of the package. I may have to look into nylon tips if I'm going to buy any more. I have not had this issue with Vic Firth sticks that I have purchased lately. ... show more

  • Good stick, probably not meant for the abuse I gave them.
Color: Black Style: Rebound 7A
I normally play harder rock and play with Vater's Rock drumstick, but bought these to help reduce volume as we were playing a family gig at my cousin's house over Thanksgiving weekend. After getting used to the size difference, the sticks actually felt good and played well, and did help me reduce the volume significantly. I tried hot rods last time, and just wasn't a fan. Anyway, the reason for the 4 stars is that their durability isn't great. But...I attribute most of that to me working the bell on my ride cymbals for a few songs. Next time I'm getting nylon tips. In the picture, while the paint was chipping away, that wasn't really a problem or issue. But if you look at the tip, it started breaking off, which can lead to damaged heads. So if you're not bell happy, these might work out just fine for you. :) ... show more
