This 18" level is a nice size to have. I have a 6" level and a couple of 2' and one 4'. This fits a empty spot I had and it's a nice little level. It certainly won't hold up to misuse but I also try to take good care of my levels and treat them better then my other tools. The magnet is strong enough but not as strong as my better levels. It keeps the level attached but if it's bumped it does fall off. It seems very accurate which is the key to having and using a level. My biggest complaint is the bubbles are not near the size that the lines are. This leaves a lot of space between the lines and the bubble and you have to do some estimating where you shouldn't have to. This could lead to some errors.

The media could not be loaded. with multi directional orientation, this magnetic 18 inch level is exactly what i needed which on the road in the camper. though the doors are outfitted with two levels to make at a glance recognition possible once parked, having this level on hand makes it possible to test an area before pulling my small class c rig into the space. given, it is only 18 inches, it will still give me a rough estimate of what the ground is doing by taking multiple readings. often times, i just need to scrape over the surface of the ground a few times with a rake and it's level again, so being able to have this option before i park is great. it stores away nicely in the lip of my storage compartment and it's so light weight i'm not worried about towing extra baggage, plus it's magnetic so it doesn't slip and fall over on the road. stoked to have snagged this

I like the build quality. Easy to read and strong magnets to hold it unto metal surfaces. In the picture, it is attached to a metal table. The picture of the bubble is on that same table and I know it is level, so accuracy looks good. What I don't like about it is that the magnets are exposed and that just doesn't look good, will allow dirt to accumulate in the opening, and may scratch painted surfaces. I have a smaller (10 inch) level that has a covered magnet all the way across the bottom of it. It would've been nice to have the magnets covered at least, if not all they way across. Nice level.

This is a decent level, no question. It has an aluminum body, side magnets to hold it in place (though this doesn't happen often when working in wood carpentry), and an affordable price. I think this is a good one to have when doing light work around the house. However, it's missing a printed/etched ruler on the edge as well as pitch levels/degrees to that could help with level correction. Still, I think it's good enough for 95% of my needs, so I'll hang on to it. Recommended...

This 18" level seems reasonably durable with aluminum outer shell construction. The bubbles are very visible making them pretty easy to read. The magnets on one side are a nice feature if you do happen to be placing the level on a steel surface. There are a couple of shortcomings though. 1 - The large flat sides are not completely flat and the level will not sit 100% stable on either of those sides. If you place the level on those sides it can literally wobble back and forth. The only 100% true side is the one narrow side that has the magnets. This may be by design, but having all surfaces flat and true would make for a more versatile level. 2 - The bubbles are noticeably smaller than the level lines. So you are left to visually estimate when the bubble is 100% centered. They would be easier to read if the bubble would just barely touch both of the level lines when perfectly centered.
