I use a microneedling pen and since it does penetrate your skin, you need to use very hygienic technique to avoid potential infection. These individual ampoules are great if you want to apply a serum before microneedling, since you'd be using a new, sealed ampoule each time, instead of reopening a bottle that may have already been exposed to germs in the air, on your hands, etc. The serum absorbs easily, and I didn't really notice any scent. My skin didn't feel sticky or greasy after using it. There was enough in ampoule to put on before microneedling as well as after. You get 30 ampoules in the box, the price ($36.99 at the time of this review) feels fair considering that works out to a little over a dollar per ampoule. ... show more

this is not appropriate for MN. Full of preservatives and things you never want to put in open channels into your skin. The description says HA and GHKCU. There are actually dozens of chemicals in this.

Y’all! I know they say you shouldn’t put this directly on your face, but I got it about a week before I got my microneedle from Dr. Pen and I couldn’t resist trying it! When I say it had my skin feeling soooo hydrated and smooth…I’m swearing by this stuff!! Also, it helped with my pigmentation and red spots. I will ABSOLUTELY be purchasing this again.
