I used this to lift hogs into back of my truck. It worked but the cable spring was a pain. It was very difficult to get the cable to wind on spool without pinching the cable. I'm very concerned about longevity. You get what you pay for. If I had to do again I would go with nylon web version.

This item wench did not out of the box. The lock mechanism didn't hold. I'm lucky I kept my old one so I could reinstall it until I buy another. I would never buy this again.

Have not used yet. Will use to build tripod grill lift for outdoor fire pit. Came without mounting hardware but not a big problem. Plastic winch handle may be problem near high heat. Should be perfect for my application.

For one they’re cheap made. the little bolt in the front of crank where your little clicker is replace that bolt with one bigger or stronger because when you crank on your boat crank it will bend and then that little clicker will not work I’m on my second crank and just replace the bolt cheap made not happy . ... show more
