I'm blown away by the feel and quality of this armored hoodie. For $50, my expectations were very low, and this has exceeded them immensely. I have a BILT Nomad 2 jacket and this hoodie has succeeded that in being my new daily warm weather jacket. The fabric has a nice feel to it, and is thick, strong and durable. The armor is thick, not at all like the thin armor in a lot of the no-name brand gear. The inside cell phone pocket is a good size and has a velcro closure, so you don't have to worry about your phone literally flying out of your pocket at speed. All the exterior pockets zip closed, and the zipper quality is good. I don't love the branding on the back, but for the cost it is a total non-issue. You could also easily put an iron-on logo or something over it. ... show more

Honestly the jacket feels safe when it comes to road rash. Butttt, the elbow pads doesn't fit in its spot properly so I just used the shoulder pads on the elbow since the shoulders have outer protection.
