I bought this because of the reviews about the sturdiness and heavy field. And it does feel like the sustain pedal on my old, 6 foot baby grand. However, I have tried two of this pedal, and they are not compatible with my Yamaha DGX – 670. I am an electrical engineer, I would’ve thought a switch is a switch either normally closed or normally open. But evidently my Yamaha is looking for something different. Either that, or I received two defectives in a row either way, that’s not good! I gave it four stars since the likelihood that both are defective is very low, and I did think the sturdiness, foot pressure required to operate it, cord, etc. was all solid. and that half the price of a Yamaha pedal, coupled with Amazons wonderful return policy, thought I’d give this a shot. Nope!

This is a solid product with a nice strong resistance and spring to be very accurate when using it as sustain or as a foot switch. Hopefully it will last a long time which remains to be known. Other brands I've purchased fail within a short period and end up in the trash.

The media could not be loaded. It works on my daughter’s Casio CDP S100.But has a slight damage on it when I received it.Don’t know if it’s manufacturer’s defect or delivery damage.Will use it and no plans of returning it right now.
