Wife wanted one so I got it for her as a Christmas gift. Set it up on Christmas day and she loved it. Adjustment was a little tricky since the threaded adjustment shaft was almost all the way out. (Standard 8ft ceiling). Tried all the extra shorter pieces in different configurations, still ended up working great. Set up was simple overall. Definitely holds in place well and is very sturdy. I do like the fact that you can adjust the spin tension or lock it so it's friction only.

I’ve installed it myself and it was super easy. It’s held up nicely even when I accidentally did some team pole work on it and went over the weight capacity. I love this pole. I’ve only used it on spin mode and not static.
