Got this for my three youngest grandchildren. It's fun for one of them. Two 11 year olds and a nine year old. My nine year old really enjoys it. It is noisy, so we tumble in the garage. It is fun and this model is well built and comes with everything you need to get started.

This is an excellent rock tumbler!! I make jewelry out of beach stones and it's the perfect tool!!. NOTE: Beach stones are already somewhat raw polished by the ocean so I tumbled with step 3 for two weeks and step 4 for another two weeks. The final product were beautiful clear Cape May diamonds. Smaller than expected. And holds less rocks then expected. Lid is on tight with its nut but still has a small amt. of powder that escapes while rolling.

The construction is poor. The alignment is off which causes uneven wear on the belt - which breaks often.
