We recently bought this laser level with the tripod, and we absolutely love it. Setup was quick and straightforward, even right out of the box. The tripod is sturdy and adjustable, which makes positioning the laser easy and very stable. The laser itself is bright, clear, and very accurate. We’ve used it for multiple projects, and it has made leveling and alignment so much faster and more precise compared to traditional tools. Update as of 9/25/2018--I gave these blades their first rigorous test against metal several weeks ago. The results weren't great. I needed to cut off 16 rusty 1/4 inch by 3 1/2 inch carriage bolts to replace two arms on an old picnic table I was rebuilding. Rusty nuts and threads made unscrewing the bolts impossible. They had to be cut off. I began with a partially used, but fully-toothed blade from this set and it lasted through three bolts before being destroyed beyond use. I then used a brand new blade and made it through six bolts, at the end of which the second blade was destroyed as well. You can see the first two blades in the picture below. Their teeth are ruined and the blades are beyond useless. I then used a third blade, this one new as well, and was able to make it last through seven bolts at the end of which no teeth were missing (though it was significantly dulled). The difference? I kept sliding the oscillating saw tip as much as possible with the third blade. Keep the blade moving and you will significantly extend blade life. Just sit the saw without movement against any metal object and the heat buildup will destroy any blade, Look at the obvious heat damage in the picture... Would a Bosch blade have cut more metal? I suspect so. Probably a lot more. But correct use of the saw will prolong any blade. At the end of the day I think these blades are a significantly more economical choice than the premium blades. ________________________________ At $2.20 apiece, these bi-metal blades are a great purchase, given that they actually work and have thus far successfully cut off a couple nails without losing their edge. I don't know how many nail cuts I'm going to get out of them. I'm on my first blade of the ten-pack, and so far it's hanging tough. But I've used enough cheap blades that cost 4 and 5 times as much as these to know that even getting a couple good nail cuts from some supposedly bi-metal blades is stretching your luck. I'll report back when I've used it further, but I'm happy after a half day of general use with my first blade. It's clear that, in general, you get what you pay for with oscillating tool blades. Look at the better web reviews and you'll see what I mean: Bosch blades priced per numbers of nails cut before blade stops working are cheaper than most dirt cheap no-name blades. Bosch blades go 150 cuts. No name blades struggle to get 20 cuts. So it's encouraging that this blade which costs about 10 percent what a similar Bosch costs looks capable of cutting at least 15 nails when the reviews suggest Bosch bi-metals will make up to 150 nail cuts before wearing out.

I needed a level for a one time project. Thought this was ok and not too expensive. I trusted the reviews and figured most were happy with it so I gave it a shot. Boy was I wrong! It claims a distance of 100 ft and under total darkness that might be. I have been trying to use it during a not particularly bright day and I have to build a shade cover and cannot go beyond 7 feet (no exaggeration) or it's not visible at all. At this point it's useless. I STRONGLY suspect the reviews at this point. Save yourself time, aggravation and expense, look elsewhere for a laser level. You've been warned.
