This is a premium pickleball paddle that’s a cut above many of the others out there. (I know, as I own six or seven and have tried at least a dozen more.) All the manufacturers of the high-end paddles say their paddles have been designed for maximum performance and that they will “elevate” your experience on the court. This one really does. It is - in a word - smashing. It’s medium weight, at 7.8 ounces, which allows for great maneuverability and flexibility in landing shots. It has a five-layer structure, including an inner honeycomb core to cushion the ball’s impact, as well as a carbon fiber surface which offers great power, control, spin and precision. And the paddle has a smooth “edgeless” design that looks great, but also seems to enhance performance. This paddle is USA Pickleball approved, naturally, and is good for advanced beginners and pros. If you’re just starting out, it’s probably more paddle than you need. This is not your Daddy’s paddle! (And if you’re longing for your Daddy’s paddle, you must have had a very different childhood than I did.)

Overall a nice pickleball paddle that plays well and looks nice. That said, it's hard to find the value in this one considering it's made using the same technics and identical material as numerous other paddles. It doesn't play any different than many other paddles within this style line, but the current price is much higher than the competition which makes this an outlier. Again, nothing wrong with the paddle itself, simply not a value for the current price for what you get. If it was half the current price then it would at least be in the same range as competitors, making it easier to justify selecting it over other options.

My wife and I are new to Pickleball, and have ordered several $20-$40 paddle sets off of Amazon. This design instantly stood apart as soon as it arrived. First, it is edgeless which sets it apart instantly. Then, it has a 3D feel to it, as the “board” part has a checkerboard style and feel. It looks and feels fantastic. Finally, it has a longer handle than a typical pickleball paddle which proved very nice when playing. I am not sure if I’m just improving over time, or if this paddle has made a true difference, but I’m chalking it up to the latter. This paddle is above and beyond any others I’ve tried to date, there is zero comparison. It is much lighter than other paddles, which is another great benefit. I highly recommend this paddle and won’t play with any other!!

I recently got into pickleball over the last six months and wanted to upgrade from the beginner paddle I was using. So glad I upgraded to the SmashX Professional Pickleball Paddle! The two biggest things about this paddle is the longer handle and that it's edgeless. it's got a large sweet spot and the grip is noticeably different than my previous paddle. I haven't noticed a difference in the weight but have noticed that my hits seem to have more power behind them (it's not that I'm hitting the ball any harder than I was, I just attribute it to the better made carbon fiber paddle). This is my go-to paddle now and will keep an eye on how I progress with it.

I've always preferred borderless pickleball paddles, and this is my new favorite one. I've played for the greater part of a year so far and am no expert, but this paddle has helped me tremendously with control and working on my spins. I think this paddle would be an excellent purchase or gift for those serious about getting into pickleball as this is made of such quality that you can feel, especially in game. Highly recommend.

This is a very lightweight paddle. It is easy to handle, fits smoothly in the hand, and is easy to control. The handle wrap provides a good grip. The edges are sleek. This is one of the smoothest paddle, I have used. Highly recommend it.
