• Style, brand and version: -Brand: LUXBRU -Style: 20PCs Makeup Brushes •Overall Impression: -This is a good value for a full set of eye and face makeup brushes with nice extras. You can easily put on a full face of face and eye makeup with this set. -The brushes are very soft, dense and the styles, shapes, density work well for each brush to work as it's designed to for it's function. They are well thought out and well designed. • What’s Included: -15 makeup brushes -1 lash comb -1 mask silicone applicator -1 two piece makeup brush holder -2 powder applicators (triangular velour style) • Size: -Full sized brush length and full sized brushes. Not small or travel mini sized. • Uses: -See the picture in the listing with the brush descriptions and labels. Not every brush is labeled for every use. But you can do a full face look with this set. -You can apply: primer, foundation, concealer, powder, contour, highlight, blush, eye-shadow, brow powder, lip product (some brushes may be dual use or have to be used for other purposes than labeled in the listing) • Pros-what I liked and what worked well: -Very soft, dense bristles in a synthetic (cruelty free) material. -Sturdy brush handles in a tapered finish, sturdy brush ferrule. -Brushes wash well and don't run color during or after washing. -Brushes don't shed during use or during or after washing. -Well designed set, you can apply a full face of eye and face makeup. -Dense brushes, well shaped for each area and type of product application. -Brush holder included -2 powder applicators included -Plain brush handles, no logo printed on the brush handles. No print at all on the brush handles. • Cons-what I didn’t like and what didn’t work well: -There is a mild scent to the brush holder. I had to air it out to get rid of the scent. It was on the brushes, but after washing them it was gone. -The powder applicators were a bit bent in the way they were placed in the brush holder, they stayed wrinkled a bit even after washing. -The brushes didn't come with a brush type guide to tell which brush was for what use. -The brushes weren't labeled on the handle for what use they were intended. -The set would have benefited from having (it does not have) a fine liner eyeliner brush. • Tips & Thoughts: -Note, the brush handles are tapered and will not sit flat in the brush caddy as they are tapered vs flat. -The synthetic bristles are about mid stiffness. They aren’t soft and fluffy (though they are soft) like faux goat hair or natural goat hair. Nor are they as stiff as say Real Techniques brushes (which I love). They remind me of the ELF brand brushes fibers with a synthetic slicker feel vs natural brushes. But they are a lot denser than most ELF brushes. But if you like the better, denser ELF brushes, these remind me a bit of those, but these are better quality and denser.

I like that the brushes are soft on my face. I found the brushes to pick up my makeup well. I like that the brushes apply my makeup evenly. There are different brushes for different applications and all worked well at applying my makeup from eyes to face. I did have a couple of bristles shed. Not a lot but 2 or 3. It was in the bigger flat brush. The handles of the brushes felt good in my hand. I like the length of the brushes. I like that it came with a case for easy traveling and throwing in my bag. It keeps the makeup off my bag and the brushes clean. It is a quite nice little case for storage. One that can be kept on the counter and the look is very aesthetic. It has almost a leather look with snaps on the sides to keep it closed. It also came with a bag if you prefer to use that instead. I like the two triangle powder puffs that came with the brush set. I found them soft and good with my setting powder. The triangle side goes well under my eyes. Everything I need in one set. I have enclosed pictures so you can make an informed decision based on your own personal needs. Yes, I would recommend this product.

This makeup brush set is a fantastic deal to get all the brushes you need. It comes in a really nice leather(ish) carrying tube that snaps shut to keep them all organized while traveling, or that can act as two separate cups of on a counter. There are all the classics to apply eyeshadow, foundation, contour, highlighter, and even lipstick and masks. I was pleasantly surprised to see the silicone mask brush in here as well as the lash comb. It’s really everything you need. When I first opened the container there was a bit of a chemical smell but it went away pretty quickly after I left them open. The brushes all have really soft bristles, and they behave how you want them to—the sort of kabuki brush has very densely packed bristles that keep their shape really well, the eyebrow brush is relatively stiff and strong to keep things under control, and the blending brushes are soft and flexible to make blending easier. I think this is a great value and a perfect gift if you have a makeup lover in your life.
