These are excellent quality and feel so nice in the hands, they have a nice weight to them, makes it easy to maneuver. These are Very sharp which I appreciate! I know there are varying opinions on this ok, but I prefer to cut my hair while it's dry, and the blades are so nice and sharp that cutting and trimming is easy and quick. Works great on wet hair as well. I wasn't sure what kind of quality to expect since you get several pieces for under $40, and I have bought a couple pairs over the years that were around 30 bucks for just one pair of scissors, but the quality of these is excellent. Definitely better than the ones I've tried so far, the old pairs are getting tossed in the kitchen junk drawer.

From the pictures I thought this was a slightly larger set, but it is a complete set with a hair shaper, two pairs of scissors, thinning shears, and a number of other items that are necessary for trimming your hair and beard. The only thing I don't like, and maybe I can pop them off, is that this has little gemstone plastic things on each of the hinges. From the pictures I thought it was just a red embellishment, but it is like a plastic bling stone. The coating is also much darker than it looks like in the picture. They look almost painted black in person, while they look lightly anodized in the pictures. They are sharp and seem to cut well. No complaints about the functionality or use of them.

This set of scissors, trimming and thinning shears have been amazing and so easy to work with. I've been trimming my husband's hair for years, and got tired of the same old scissors I had been using that I had bought from the local beauty supply store, so I thought I'd try this set, and boy am I glad I did! This is an incredible value for all that I got! I think my favorite is absolutely the thinning shears, although I'd never used one before, I'm wondering why I waited so long. Everything you'll ever need to give a professional haircut is right here, and it comes in a great carrying case as well. All of the instruments are super sharp. I highly recommend this set.
