A very decent set of hairdressing scissors! The set includes: hair cutting scissors, thinning scissors, adjustment key, cleaning cloth, user manual and gift box. Everything is neatly laid out and beautifully packaged - will be a great gift. The scissors are sharp and comfortable to hold in your hand. The blades are made of Japanese stainless steel with a cutting angle of 48 degrees, which allows you to cut accurately without damaging the hair. I tried cutting - they move smoothly, do not catch. Thinning scissors also work well and do not pull hair. After use, you just need to wipe them and put them away in the box. I recommend this set for home use or for beginner stylists. Excellent value for money!

We had some clippers but they didn't work very well. At least not like these! All of the scissors in this set are razor sharp. I gave this to him as an early Father's Day present and it was a win. Great set!

As I have another pair of good quality scissors to compare with, I would say these don't really make sense above $30. They give off a "mall ninja" vibe to me - trying to look cool rather than being function-first. I can say without hesitation that the "$89.99" sticker price is not the real value of this item, and so far the sales have consistently kept the price rather in line with my expectations. I would just avoid at $90. There is no brand pedigree that adds perception of value, and no functionality or material benefits here that exceed what others are doing for vastly cheaper. The black finish even noticeably scraped off just trying to operate the tension adjustment. I prefer my other pair where the tension is manually operated by a thumbscrew mechanism, although it does stick out more than these so it's a tradeoff either way. All that said, they work. Not better than my $13 name brand pair of professional shears, though. They don't have smoother action, there's some graininess to the motion and they don't glide through hair, but they do make the cut about as well as the other shears, without issues. They feel good in the hand in spite of the silly looking shape, and I don't miss the lack of silicone/plastic covers in the finger holes. At the right price, these are a perfectly fine set of hair trimming scissors that get the job done. Don't fall for the $90 price tag hype - realistically I'd expect these to start at around $30 instead. Edit: The seller has been very responsive in reaching out to solve these issues and actively work toward a better product. They stand by their product and will work to resolve any issues that arise. That may help the value prospect here, though to what degree you want after-sales support on scissors is up to you.

It's great to have these since my previous thinning shears have unfortunately been tugging. I wish I'd gotten this set sooner.
