These are great scissors that feel balanced and easy to use. The blades are very sharp, as expected in a pair of professional hair cutting shears. They cut effortlessly and precisely. They are made from VG10 stainless steel and weigh 60.5 grams. They can be used by both right and left handed people, which is kind of amazing! They arrive neatly packaged in a padded box, along with 2 hair clips, a comb, a polishing cloth and a pair of finger grips. It’s a great set and perfect for anyone that cuts hair professionally or just for home use. For people that just cut hair for family or friends, these would be a huge upgrade over regular scissors that so many people default to. There is a world of difference between real hair cutting shears like these vs. the scissors you get for general home use. Home use scissors are not sharp compared to these, and they are clumsy and imprecise. These are light feeling and they are very sharp and precise. Professional scissors like these are effortless to use, and they leave the cut end of your hair in perfect condition, whereas plain old scissors can damage the ends of your hair and make them more prone to split ends. In case you’re not familiar with the description of “VG-10”, it is stainless steel which is a cutlery-grade and produced in Japan. These are great scissors and I will enjoy using them for many years.

Ordered this pair of Hair Cutting Scissors - Left and Right Hand Barber Shears 6.3" - Made of Premium VG10 Stainless Steel Material w/CNC Bearings - for my use. I started cutting my own hair about (15) years ago as I started working out of state and went to a few different barbers and the last two ruined my hair to where I was embarrassed. So after watching my original long time friend & hair stylist cut my hair for so long, I started cutting my own hair and have for many years. I've just always had a pair of big box store grade "plastic handle" scissors and used them for years and they had really gotten dull. Recently while shopping online for some good shampoo and new hair trimming combs & etc., I saw these nice precision grade shears and started reading about them. These are "premium grade" scissors. After reading that they are made of heat treated VG10 Stainless Steel material and frame is CNC precision with center bearings, I placed my order. Love these scissors!. These are of exceptional quality and came "razor sharpened". I like that they are designed for left or right handed people. They came nicely packaged with hair clips, salon style comb and polishing cloth with an enclosed thick lined storage box. These are top of the line type scissors and are precision made and designed. The good strong grade stainless has been heat treated to 1,100 degrees and cold dipped (for hardness) to -112 degrees, so I know these are very tough and will last me a lifetime. They came extremely sharpened and they operate so smoothly. They also came with finger inserts to fit ones fingers just right and make them comfortable to use. The nice and smooth highly polished finish makes them look and feel so nice to use. The amber crystal center screw cap puts the finishing touch and brings out the quality in them. These cut right thru my hair so very easy. Now wished I would of had these long before now. I do recommend these scissors

The media could not be loaded. These scissors are very sharp and well made. They feel balanced and comfortable, making it easier to get precise hair cuts. They work well for both left and right handed users; which is a plus! The box arrived a little bent but the scissors and everything inside the box was in perfect condition. 5 stars across the board. I raise Lhasa apso which have hair, not fur, so I need good grooming tools for keeping their coats beautiful. I also have 5 sons who need hair cuts and a husband who needs hair cuts. To say that I have tried a lot of scissors would be a massive understatement. I have tried so many different brands and so many different styles. I've tried craft scissors, regular household scissors, hair cutting scissors, appliance scissors, so many different scissors. So many different brands. I always end up with a good first haircut maybe second haircut and then there's somewhat Dole and starting to catch and pull. I want something that's going to last if I'm going to spend money on it. I was able to get these on review to try. And I didn't hold out much hope that they were going to be even remotely decent after a haircut or two. Color me shocked! I am so impressed. My husband needed a haircut, as did four of my five boys. Their hair was totally unruly and long period everybody was starting to look super shaggy. Wanted everyone to look really nice going into summer break. Also cut everybody's hair so it was nice and cool. These not only met my expectations, they far exceeded them. I was able to cut five heads of hair without even feeling like they had dulled at all. As a matter of fact, these things are so flipping Sharp, that I went to cut my son's hair and slid them along my finger a bit and literally gave myself the beginning of a cut without even feeling it. They're almost surgical sharp. It was right up there until my last haircut. And they're still sharp as can be. I'm going to see if I can find a way to make these last forever. Because they are the best scissors I've ever used in my entire life. To say that I recommend them as a massive understatement.
