This works surprisingly well. I cut my husbands hair at home (far from a professional) and I was tired of getting hair on all this clothes and chair that we used. I decided to start saving a little money by learning to cut my own hair. This is an inexpensive way to keep everything tidy. The cape does a great job of keeping the hair off you which aids in the clean up process. The material is very thin, so I'm not sure how it would hold up in professional settings, but for home use it does the job. The little brush is handy to get all the loose hair off. Everything packs in super tight for easy storage.
