Description

Zip-Up temporary carpet protection film is made from high strength puncture resistant poly. The roll is wound with the adhesive side out to allow for easy application to the carpet with or without an applicator. Ideal for renovation, re-modeling and new construction. Available in a variety of roll sizes for jobs large and small. You can rollout ZIP-UP Carpet Protection Film using a ZIP-UP Carpet Film Applicator, or you can rollout by using your foot (Applicator sold separately). ZIP-UP Carpet Protection Film is not for use on hard floor surfaces.

While construction was done in upstairs bathroom I needed to protect carpeted stairs. Laying a tarp on them wouldn’t be safe. Happily this product went securely over the stairs. It has fared well for over a week now. My concern now will be removing it. Fingers crossed that carpet tufts don’t pull out🤞Will let you know… Update…be aware that the adhesive on this film is sticky and strong enough to possibly pull tufts from carpet or finish off wood so I suggest removing perhaps with heat from a hair dryer. ... show more

I used this on my rental car’s carpet because I have an actively shedding husky-malamute mix (it’s August!!) and had to drive 15 hours in the car with my dog. The rental car company charges a $450 pet hair cleaning fee and I wanted to avoid this as much as possible. This worked wonders!!- it stuck very securely to carpet and plastic in the car but not on the upholstery (I covered upholstery with blankets). I used the whole roll and I think it was well worth it. The rental car company will never even know I had my dog in the car for 15 hours. When it came time to turn the car in, removal of the film was super easy and I walked out of there scotch-free. It works and is used to protect carpets. I used it for my car and it works great. However when you’re applying it or taking it off, it is a real struggle. The film sticks to itself bad and cutting it sucks. Scissors don’t do anything so you’ll have to use a exacto knife but then you risk cutting your floors. ... show more

This stuff is like dealing with a giant roll of Saran Wrap. I wasted about 10 ft of it because it is statically attracted to itself. You need at least three people to handle a sheet of this stuff, because once you cut it off, it folds over onto itself. Also know that it will stick to EVERYTHING except automotive carpet. Once I managed to get a sheet of it into my car, it didn't stick to the carpet. Useless. ... show more
