I have many pairs of these shorts, really like the washed out black color. Reason for 4 starts and not 5 is because the sizing seems to run on the smaller side. I purchased the white shorts in a 29 as well as these washed out black ones. The material on the white is much softer/thinner and has a little more stretch, these black ones are a thicker denim, fit a little snugger and the leg area seems to be more fitted around the thighs. I kept them and will seam rip the outside of the legs a little bit to give me more thigh room. I also have these in the light denim with the ripped front and that style/color fit like the white pair. True to size, softer and thinner denim. Hope this helps with ordering. 143lbs 5’7 waist 28-1/2 hips 36-1/2

I absolutely love these shorts! I had my eye on them waiting for Prime Day to come and then I made the fatal decision...to try before I buy :( They went on sale for almost half price so I pounced, but couldn't decide which color I wanted. I tried 2 colors and got them right away, then realized that the brand runs a little smaller than what I usually wear. I returned one color and EXCHANGED the other color for a larger size. Then when I tried to pay for them - the price had returned to the normal price and that's what they were charging me. Never mind what they were when I ordered them - I was told by customer service there was nothing they could or would do about it. I returned them, sadly.

I loved these. I got a great deal for them on Amazon. The high waist hides all of my c-section mom of two pooch and they’re not so short that my booty was hanging out. The only issue I had was that after walking around the mall for a few hours the strings were getting really long. I’m half tempted to go cut them a little. Also I sized up to a 28 from a 27 based on other reviews but probably didn’t need to; they stretch a bunch after wearing them a little while. My waist band had quite a bit of space after walking around and it started looking a little sloppy.

SIZE UP - Until this year I never tried sizing up a size in shorts but it's awesome for the loose fit. I sized up 1 size only and the shorts fit well but still have a little room in the waist which is perfect for the summer humidity. I think I could have gotten away with sizing 1 more size up if you do prefer a loose fit in the leg area as well. I got the Medium Indigo and I was a little worried the color was going to look like the photo because I actually wasn't a huge fan and the color was actually better in person, a richer/deeper blue that reminds me of the vintage levi's on everybody's pinterest board. As soon as I tried them on I was so pleasantly surprised that I started checking for other colors. Can't speak for all the styles and colors but would recommend these and would repurchase.

True to size! I’ll order more colors soon. I usually wear size 27-28, depending on the fabric. I’m feeling a little heavier right now, but still purchased my usual size 28, knowing there’s no stretch to these shorts. There’s even a small gap in the back waist of the shorts, but the fit is still great. They’re short, but don’t ride up, and I can bend over in them without too much concern. I’m 5’2” and approx 125 lbs, 27.5” waist, and 37.5” hips.

I haven't decided if I'm going to return these yet or not. I normally wear a 31 in levis and so I wanted to size up one for a slightly roomier fit so I got a size 32 and these felt like they fit like a 30. I got one other pair of levis shorts in a 32 and they were perfect. and I got pants recently in a 31 and that was also perfect. Its a great looking short and well made of course! I'm just sad that these fit smaller than what I was expecting after looking at the sizing chart and reviews. Theres no stretchiness to them if that helps anyone.

Levi’s are wonderful additions to any wardrobe. I wanted a white pair of jean shorts for summer and they didn't disappoint. They have a bit of stretch and will loosen up after a few hours of wearing but not enough for the shorts to look sloppy. They are extremely comfortable and very flattering. I always receive compliments when wearing them - they make your butt look great. I already own several other pairs in different colours. I found the sizing a bit large. I had to size down twice but thankfully, returns/exchanges with Amazon are effortless. If you have never tried these jean shorts, buy them. You'll find yourself reaching for them constantly. They hold up wear after wear. I wash inside out and hang to dry.

I absolutely love these shorts! If you want a fitted style get your regular size. If you want a little more wiggle room go 2 sizes up. I usually wear a size 27 in all Levi's so I purchased a size 29 after reading all the reviews!! At first as with all Levi's that are mostly or 100% cotton they mold to your body as you wear them, so this is after an entire day of running errands and chasing my two beautiful crazy kids! I am 5'2 and weigh 130-135, I do have a little mom pooch and these definitely hide that as well as the muffin top!!! Whoo hoo found my new go to shorts!! I will be buying so many more of these!!! Love love love these!!!!! Yes I'm obsessed!!!! Remember these are 501s and they do not have a stretchy feel to them but they are so comfortable! Back to my 90's yay!!
