Literally the only thing that helped my mystery rash I've been dealing with for three months! Bandaids, Neosporin, other hydrocortisone creams, etc all made it worse or come and go. I layered this on thickly twice a day without washing off and it created a protective barrier that finally helped it heal. Had a slight sting for a minute when rash was most red. Very mild scent (I never noticed it). This is my third tube. Edit 5/25/20: This was the best over the counter cream, but I ended up going to the dermatologist, getting diagnosed with eczema and now use a prescription strength topical steroid. My GP gave me a handy tip: wrap the skin (calf, in my case) in seran wrap for a day or two after applying cream. It makes such a difference! ... show more

    • Great product but was past expiration...
I really like the product itself and would rate the product itself five stars but the bottle I recieved was expired, sadly. This is a pet peeve of mine: when I purchase items and they are already expired! I don't want to return the item just please next time make sure the items you're selling are not past the expiration date. I'd like to order this item again through amazon but am unsure if I can trust to not get an expired bottle again... ... show more

My ears have been itching, peeling for years. Went to an ear, nose and throat for an unrelated issue and mentioned this. He suggested putting Selsun Blue shampoo in there. That was the shampoo I had used for years so that wouldn't work. I put any type of ointment, oil, on and on and it might relieve it for a moment or a day but always came back. I had bought this product just to have on hand and one day felt so desperate with my ears, I put a dab of this on each ear. What....it worked! I only very rarely have to apply it again, maybe once a month if that. To me, it was a miracle and will use it always. ... show more

    • My Only Solution
A couple years ago I suddenly was experiencing severely dry lips that crack and bleed, and soon my whole face began to dry and peel starting at my mouth. And it was agonizing itchy. It took me months to figure out I'd developed a cinnamon allergy. I found little relief in so many products, including prescribed ones. But this one has brought me genuine relief. It burns a little at first but that can be nice if you're experiencing a lot of itchy irritation. I wash the area first and then apply. The great thing is that you can rub it in and then pat the area and the whiteness disappears so it's not even noticeable. It helps heal very fast, and the relief is within the hour. Anytime I feel like my lips are reacting I just put some on and boom, completely negates the reaction within 1-3 days usually. I'm sure it depends on the amount/severity of the allergy.     • For the gals that get chemical peels…
The hydrocortisone cream dermatologists give as part of the post chemical peel skin care is a mainstream cream with a F ton of nasty stuff. I threw that tube out in no time. Bless the dermatologists offering this crap. Yes, I know the chemical peel ingredients are probably not natural, but after you get one of these the skin is very sensitive and exposed, as the top layer of skin has been dissolved off. During this sensitive werk of healing for the face, the skin is itchy. This natural cream is a wonderful alternative and works better. Benadryl’s itch stopping gel is cooling and also a great addition to the skin care routine following a CP, when the skin feels itchy from the skin shedding process. Great topical analgesic. The dermatologist suggested petroleum jelly around the eyes and mouth. Gross! That’s a petroleum byproduct. Why put that on my exposed new layer of skin? No thanks. Solution? I LOVE this cream! Im allergic to most types because they just have to add propylene glycol, so when i found this super clean formula i got it and i use it on my face every day as a moisturizer because i get itchy all the time. I get zero zits from it and it has helped my skin calm down a ton. I just wish the tube was bigger! ... show more

I always try to get products that have a more natural edge to them, and I love calendula so I had high hopes for this product. I’d say it works as well as most hydrocortisone creams but it did not absorb well.

    • Great for baby’s eczema
We started using because it seems to have somewhat more natural ingredients than other hydrocortisone creams. It works wonders on our littles one’s eczema (as recommend by pediatrician)
