7/22/2022: This is the one you want. Tried both versions of Ivarest by Blistex and neither one really helped. I got some cooling, short term relief from the Ivarest spray, but very little real itch relief from the cream or the spray. Both were quite short term. Cortizone 10 makes the itch stop and lasts, really lasts. I slept better last night than I have in more than a week. I'm combining with diphenhyramine tablets that I use for sleep and bumping up the total by one as needed to assist. No idea what the rash is but wow, it's been bad. Hopefully even better today with with continued use of Cortizone 10. I had been using expired Cortizone 10 and it still helped more than the Ivarest. ... show more

I use this stuff quite often & it works amazing! If I start getting dry skin on my face I put some of this and it clears it up really fast! I had developed an odd rash on my right thumb that would not go away and other lotions and even my hubby's prescribed ointments did nothing for to help. It itched like crazy too. When a few smaller patches popped up on my knuckle and between my fingers I had to look for something that would actually bring relief. My husband recommended Cortizone-10 and I checked here on Amazon and decided to give it a try. So glad I did! The itching was resolved with my first application of this marvelous creme and after 5 days of daily use my rashes are almost completely gone. What's not to like? This works great for my husband. He can use it in sensitive areas that he cannot use his prescription. It gets rid of the itch and moisturizes at the same time. I like that this comes in a bigger tube as well.
