I bought this case/stand for my 9.7 inch iPad Pro to replace the case/keyboard that I originally purchased from Apple. The Apple case and keyboard simply wore out (for shame, Apple!) and so I was looking for something inexpensive that will last until I replace this iPad. This case was only $18.00 and looked like it will do the job. For the most part it is doing the job, with a couple of caveats: Notice in the accompanying photo the chip that came off of the corner of the case. At no time have I dropped the iPad in this case or banged it into anything. It goes from my briefcase to my desk and back, and is not used in any challenging environment. That piece of plastic simply broke off! The materials from which this case is made are not the most durable, and I suspect the major fail that will happen with this product is the hing that holds the two pieces together. The other thing that was a small surprise is that from the pictures the outside of the case appears to have texture to it. That was appealing to me because I did not want something that would easily slip out of my hands. However, the outside of this case is quite slippery, so you need to be careful not to drop it. In spite of these issues this case is a good value for the money. Compared to what you would spend to get a case from Apple this case is a bargain. It looks good and has two options for setting the angle of the iPad when you are using it. It is light and the iPad fits securely into the case.

This is a basic case and helps not add bulk but let you prop your iPad up when you want. I got it to replace a leather looking one that had started to peel. I think this material will be more durable..

Great Fit and Protection, but Stand Could Be Better - Black Color

This case is lightweight and not bulky. Once installed, the tablet is easy to carry and handle. It offers a snug fit in all corners, with precise cutouts that align well with the camera, speaker, microphone, ports, sensors, and buttons. The material is sturdy enough to provide protection from everyday use and minor drops. However, the cover does attract dirt, dust, and fingerprints easily. The good news is that it’s simple to clean with a damp cloth. Inside, there are two wedges that allow the tablet to stand in two different viewing positions. Both are easy to use, but it takes a little practice to get them to stay in place since the fit isn’t very tight. Any sharp movement can cause the stand to shift or collapse. Overall, it’s a great case for lightweight protection and convenience, with a few minor quirks.
