I bought one of these ProCase units a few years ago for my Galaxy Tab S3 and I really liked it, so when I bought a new Galaxy Tab S6 I pretty much automatically bought this one for the new tablet. Turns out there was an unfortunate design change. The S3 case was all leather (or faux leather, I don't know) which really made the top half dig into whichever of the three angle stand points you chose. Very secure. On the new S6 case, the portion holding the tablet is now plastic instead of leather. When I open the case and place the top half into one of the three rows to set the angle I want, any slight movement causes the slick plastic backing to slide off; and the tablet goes - plop! - flat on it's back. You wouldn't think this is a big deal ... until it happens every time you move and you're constantly propping the tablet back up. So I went into home engineering mode and got two rubber dots used to keep your cabinet doors from banging into the cabinet when you close them. Unfortunately the dots were a bit too tall and the case would not close all the way now. Got out ye olde box cutter razor blade and shaved them down flatter - now it closes and provides a stable point to prop the tablet on. It's still not as secure as the previous case for my S3 and it looks like a cheesy fix with all the cut marks on the dots (which my wife reminds me of whenever it catches her attention), but I otherwise like the tablet case so that's where I'm at. If I had it to do over again I would probably buy another case but since I'm at this stage I will keep it. When the next tablet purchase comes up though ... see ya. ... show more

    • Well made, lightweight and flexible use
The manufacturing details are seemingly without any flaws. The two-tone black case is very attractive and the pocket on the front holds paper notes and envelopes I want to keep handy until I mail or type in. The plastic that surrounds the tablet is very secure: that plus the cover that I can lock closed with the elastic strap ensures that my Samsung tablet won't be damaged if it ever should fall by accident - you don't have to worry that the magnet is strong enough to keep closed when not in use.     • Power and Sound Buttons and S PEN
It was tedious and hard to access the power or the volume buttons. So if I wanted to quickly turn it down because I had it up loud, its frustrating when you have actually look for the buttons. The S Pen was not hard to access and work as described in the description. It does wake / sleep when opening / closing. I recommend to the manufacture add something more secure for the S Pen. Add a little pocket or Velcros. The 3 positions seems to be slippery, make less slippery. It really slips on the second and third position. That could be my fault the way I way using it. Overall its a nice case on the outside and inside. Its right for the price if you can deal with the little idiosyncrasy. I've purchased 3 Pro Case in the past with no complaints. ... show more

    • Not as good as older models.
I loved an earlier version for my Galaxy Tab A so I naturally ordered for my new Tab 6. Very disappointed with the design changes. It's sturdy but the way the tablet is secured is a bit sketchy and it makes it very hard to access the power and volume buttons. I'm also pretty sure I would lose my stylus if I tried to secure it the magnetic slot on the back which doesn't seem very magnetic at all. Sometimes old school is the best school ... UPDATE - Tried my Tab A version with my Tab 6 and it works great. The holder for stylus or pen is a bit loose but I can live with that. ... show more

    • Does almost everything it should
My Tab S6 fits perfectly into the case. The case is very comfortable to hold and is quite light. The stand slots work very well. I also found the elastic band to be a nice addition. The only negative I can find is that Procase did not put a strap/elastic to hold the magnetic pen in place. However, I did attach a small piece of elastic on the holder pen cutout before putting the tablet in the case - it appears to have fixed this issue. ... show more

Very good case, material lasted only first one about 4 years of daily, if not hourly use. Nice looking case, fairly easy to hold, with one drawback. On a Tab S6 the soft buttons for multi tasking, close and shrink are at the bottom and I tend to accidentally push the multi task button and when I do it during typing, open another window, covering what I am using. I had a ProCase for my Galaxy2 Tab. The first one lasted about 4 years, and the only issue was the color on the was coming off, which is totally normal with daily use. I loved my ProCase then, and I love it now! I was a little disappointed to read they now manufacture outside of America, cause that's what sold me originally, but the case is an excellent price and value! ... show more

The tablet fits fine inside, so that it definitely won't fall out. Mine has a glass screen protector, which doesn't get in the way of the case. The front cover has a magnet which wakes/sleeps the tablet when its opened or closed. But, the one negative for the case is that the magnet isn't very strong, so it won't hold the front closed at all. ... show more
