I bought this case to protect the tablet I recently purchased. Upon affixing this case, I was startled by a blinding bright light and the sound of trumpets. As I came to, I noticed the carpet seemed to be a writhing mass of Escher-esque, tessellated geckos. More so than usual, even. I picked up a paper and pen (fully forgetting I had a brand new Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 directly in front of me) and I began to record my experience. Incoherent ramblings for the most part, what little I can now understand seemed to focus on the nature of male / female relationships and how important the father is as a role model for potential partners of females. Don't even start with your criticism of my CIS-centricity, we are breeders first and foremost, the current lunacy notwithstanding. Besides, we're talking about a tablet case here, for heaven's sake! Anyway, there was also some nonsense written about Robert Young in "Father Knows Best" as well as an exploration of my love of my upper arms - upon seeing it, I expressed my affection for my right arm, then soon gave attention to my left as I didn't want it to feel left out. Samsung wants $50 for their tablet case so I decided to see what was out there for my Samsung A7 tablet. I looked for the least expensive case I could find. It was ONLY $10.00! A lot of other cases seemed to have some flaw with the fit; covering the side microphone or buttons buried under stiff plastic. This case is excellently tailored and fits perfectly. For a basic book type cover to add an extra layer of protection, this is the one to get! It is not difficult to insert the tablet and it is in there firmly. There are cutouts for the microphones, buttons, usb-c port, and camera. The edges are smooth and allow you to easily access the buttons. Only 2 complaints: the magnetic cover doesn’t stay shut when you are carrying it around, so to save battery I turned off the Smart Cover feature on the tablet. Also, sky blue is more of a slate color. More grey than blue. I’m keeping it because I don’t want to wait for another one but just be aware that it doesn’t look the same as the picture here. I just bought a Samsung tab a7 and wanted something to protect it without breaking the bank, this fits the bill, seems well made but I just got it, Emerald green for me and black for my husband, I am used to my kindle and cover so it all seems heavy to me. I just got tired of kindle making me eliminate stuff, watch the covers. Different versions fit different Samsungs. This fits the one Costco was selling mid november. ... show more

The only thing that was wrong with this case is that someone had stuck a shipping label on the back of it, and then tried but failed to remove it. That was quite unsightly, but easy to remove. Otherwise, it is very attractive looking. The folding cover which converts into a lengthwise stand, also opens the tablet's display when opened. And I use it as a handle when turned the other way up. Pros: 1. The price. 2. It feels as if it'll do its job offering some protection if I drop my device. 3. The classic tri-fold design props up my Galaxy A7 making it easier to use. 4. Snug fit with legit cut-outs in the correct locations. 5. The Navy color is cool. Con: The magnets appear to clasp without the A7 in it.
