Upon reaching my 30s, I noticed a change in my metabolism. It became easier to put on weight, but my hankering for chocolate did not subside. Completely eliminating chocolate does not work for me- I have to practice moderation in order for me to maintain a healthy weight. I researched a lot of bars two assist in three goals. First was satisfying a chocolate craving, second was to have it be more filling in nature and contained some protein, and third was where it was a better quality of ingredients. I made my way through quite a few different protein bars. My favorite is the Pro Bar (specifically mint). I noticed it does satisfy my chocolate cravings, and is better than having a bar of chocolate to fill that need. The Pro Bar is more filling while still being delicious. The bar is also a decent size- I noticed with other smaller bars, I would be more included to have more than one. The chocolate taste is good, not that chalky, grainy taste. Personally, the mint and peanut butter bars are spot on, but the cookie dough is a little off to me. The cookie dough also has gluten, which I also do without (I did not realize it until after I had it). The only loss of a star is the price. I recommend these for anyone trying to satisfy a chocolate craving while still trying to be health conscious. ... show more

I absolutely love Probars, especially when they have a good Amazon price point. The cookie dough tends to be my favorite flavor, but as other reviewers have noted, I would not order these from June-Sept. because if they have sat in a hot warehouse, a delivery truck in the sun, or been left in a mailbox/on your porch for an hour or two, or any combination of the above, what you will get is a re-solidified brick instead of the soft and delicious probar I have grown to love. My last few orders have been hard and show signs of melt, even when I made sure to get my Amazon package right when it was delivered. It’s too bad because I like these for breakfast, but this is now a winter meal bar. ... show more

Great snack or dessert, honestly. Enough sweetness to combat those sweet tooth cravings without feeling totally guilty about it. Very filling too, I sometimes just have half a bar. And no weird texture, before or after! Delivery was weird since I ordered a box of protein bars and got a box of their energy gummies. However, after speaking to an amazon representative it was all sorted out. So, just be weary that you may not receive exactly what you order but reach out to Amazon if anything.
