I was looking for a dairy free and peanut free protein bar. These checked those boxes! Taste Well above average as far as protein bar taste. Sweetness is good and can taste all the ingredients. Probably could do with a little less sugar. It tastes like a candy bar. Texture Bar is clean to eat and hard enough where the pieces don't fall on your lap. It might be too hard which is a drawback. It can cause teeth pain biting into this bar. That is the reason I stopped buying this, because I'm afraid of damaging a tooth. Protein content For a plant basted protein bar, this is high at 20 grams. You could get more by adding ingredients but that would make the flavor suffer. No stomach or digestion problems from these at all. ... show more

I really liked the previous version of this bar. I'm not sure exactly when it changed, but honestly this version is almost as good. Taste is great with lots of plant-based protein (gluten free is a big plus). I'd say this is more of a meal replacement than just a protein bar.
