Used this for the first time and crimped copper lines. It’s very easy to use and worked really well. Build quality is very good. Definitely cheaper than the other options out there.

I wouldn't classify these as the only set of pex crimpers I would want to have, but for use in tight quarters they are invaluable. You do have to play around with them a little bit to figure out how they work, as it is not terribly straightforward and there are no instructions. Lift the top handle, pull back towards you and then close the handle. The jaws will lock open. A small movement of the handles will trigger the jaws to close so be careful. The action is a little off-putting, but as I said for use in tight quarters these crimpers are really good. They do come with a go/no go gauge to make sure the crimps are correct; and if they are not there is an adjustment on the crimper to change the amount of crimp applied. I was able to move the "dial" bolt with the jaws open carefully using a wrench; if the jaws are closed it won't move as there is no room for adjustment. If you do need to adjust it, I would move it one setting at a time and then do a test crimp and see what the gauge indicates. The lack of instructions with a tool that really should have some is what led to my 4 star rating.

It’s my first time using this product Decide to purchase zupper pro press for water softener project. So happy and impressed with the performance with this product, easy to use and precisely. As a beginner I’m impressed and job done lot quicker. Material wise for the project cost lil expense but it look a lot cleaner. I was thinking I might returning the product after I purchase, but I change my mind I’m definitely keeping this tool and will be using zupper pro press for my future projects coming up

a) Arrived well packaged and complete ( from Amazon) . The manufacturers packaging was super thin cardboard that was folded and was saturated with oil from the tool. ( Wipe off the tool as soon as you open it or you will have oil fingers!) b) No instructions! At least print something on the box! There is a piece of sheet metal included with what appears to be rounded gauges...but again , I have no idea what to do with it) c) I couldn't believe how little they opened.... good thing I read other reviews to figure out they function by pulling the top handle out to adjust the size after opening them all the way. ( again... I am sure this would create many returns and could be solved with two cents of ink on the packaging explaining this simple function. d) I do like that they are built like a tank and are very durable. I also like the offset angle which provides better function. Appears to crimp well and no leaks appeared at this point. This could have been easily a 4 or 5 star with a simple instruction and little better packaging.
