I had not used a microfiber roller pad before I got these. After reading some of the reviews, I wasn't too sure that I had made a good choice. As said, these are the best. No lint what so ever, and holds a enormous amount of paint. The paint rolls on smooth and afforded me a one coat coverage with average grade of paint. IMO I'm not sure that these pads can be beat. Being frugal, I even cut one for my 4" roller on my chop saw and had no lint after trimming the edges.

I saw somewhere that microfiber rollers don't splatter paint (or at least as much as traditional rollers) so I headed here to test the theory. THEY DO NOT SPLATTER! I didn't have to protect my flooring while rolling saving me soo much time. I used one roller 3 separate times already and I don't have to toss it yet, it has at least one more roll left in it. I did notice some of the microfiber material started to shed from the roller, but I suspect if I had wrapped it in tape prior to using them, this wouldn't be an issue (I have not tested that theory yet). Overall, a great product and I would buy them again!

I thought all paint roller refills were the same - I mean, how different could they be? I bought these because they’re cheaper than the main competitor product sold in the big hardware chain. I was really surprised that they’re actually BETTER. They stay on the roller (the “better” version competitor product kept popping off, which is messy and annoying). They also pick up paint more evenly. This means they roll it on more evenly, too. I’ll just always buy and recommend these whenever painting (which I hope is never again because I hate it!!!)

I’m converting from nice woven covers to the micro fiber covers. I bought these and my preferred brand microfiber and tested them out. Woven covers have the advantage of applying more paint to the wall over microfiber. Microfiber though don’t splatter as much and don’t leave the occasional annoying fibers on the wall when painting. My preferred brands microfiber covers are better than these and you do pay extra over this brand. These are a good value.
