I installed this in my garage as an alternative to standard baseboards. I have gray floors and white walls. I probably should have opted for gray vinyl instead of black, but I am not unhappy with black (just a little more contrast that I was looking for). I used 5 tubes of Henry 12105 adhesive and a craft roller to do the install on a 3 car garage. I put a small brad nail in about every foot or so after the install to allow the glue time to cure. I removed the nails after a week. I recommend buying a real roller to smooth out the adhesive. The craft roller was small and required a lot of pressure which hurt my hands after awhile. Also, watch a couple of YT videos to learn how to cut corners before you begin. It's easy, but there is a trick to getting it right. I ran into a weird issue during the install. After gluing the vinyl to the wall, it started to lift the paint off of the wall. I am confident that this was caused by cheap paint or previous water damage, but double-check the fitness of your walls before you begin to prevent a lot of frustration and wasted effort. The quality is superb, comparable to what you would find in a physical store. However, the added advantage here is that you get an extra two inches of width at roughly the same price.
