It's as advertised ,however it doesn't run on dry sand at the beach it's stuck however it do runs in wet sand and won't give the colour smoke due to sand blocking the hole but might on concrete haven't use it oftend but my kid loves it easy for 4 yrs old to operate.

This was a gift for my 7 year old son. He really has been having a lot of fun with it. Surprisingly the hand gestures work really well. All the lights and noises are cool as well. It's not intolerably loud but after a while the nose does become something you don't want o hear any more so it is nice that you can turn that off. The vapor that come from the exhaust is a really cool feature that adds just the right amount of awe-factor. The batter life is pretty good but I gave it 5 stars there because you get a second rechargeable battery with it. So just swap it out and bingo you're ready to go. I would recommend the car for sure!
