These curtains do everything as advertised. I installed these curtains in my sons bedroom. You can definitely feel that it is blocking the heat from the sun beaming in the window and there is a noticeable temperature difference from when before the curtain was there. As for the curtain' s blackout feature, it is the darkest room in the house if that tells you anything. the room is very dark, day or night. My son has some good sleep going on in there. Additionally, I like the curtains texture and color. They look and feel pretty sturdy and durable. They are made from good solid material.
