It is always a struggle finding the right mascara, as most are way too thick and clumpy and I end up having to use a tissue to wipe the product off the brush before applying. I wanted to love this mascara. The formula is nice, doesn’t clump. When you pull out the brush, the bottle opening makes sure to scrape off any excess. But the brush itself is too bulky, and I can’t keep it away from my eyelid if I go too close to the eyeline. I’m using a different mascara brush because I prefer a tight line effect. At least it cleans off easily if you use the brush and smear it on your eyelids. ... show more

I recommend this product only for special occasions as it is extremely difficult to remove even with makeup remover. Goes on nicely , nice texture , looks great , doesn’t smudge but i cannot use everyday as my thinned skin gets irritated taking it off.

I really wanted to love this mascara, but I don’t. It does give length to your lashes, but it does not give any thickness. And, this is very important to note: you cannot do multiple coats without this mascara clumping horribly. I’ve tried waiting between coats, not waiting between coats, it doesn’t matter, you are instantly left with disgusting globs of mascara on your eyelashes. This mascara is, as many have noted, also very hard to remove. I’ve always used baby oil to remove my mascara and it never failed me until this mascara. It comes off, reluctantly, but in…shards?… my final conclusion is that this is just another gimmicky mascara, promoted to older women as the answer to thinning eyelashes. I did not see any benefit to my eyelash growth with this, although I don’t wear mascara every day, so maybe that effected my results. Frankly, my Lash Princess mascara, at $4.99 a tube, is far superior in length and volume, and removes easily, even in the waterproof type.
