Like magic!
This foundation really is worth a write up. It presents like a white cream and then as soon as you start to apply pressure to it and spread it over you face it begins to change color. It is incredibly smooth and lightweight, making application really easy. It doesn't clump and is very easy to apply. One pump is enough to cover your face, meaning a bottle can go quite a ways. After application it make look a little light. Give it 5 minutes and it will amazingly color match. It leaves a dewy look, which makes the skin look naturally even toned. If you want a more matte look you can apply a loose powder over.

Works surprisingly well
I was a little dubious about trying this but nothing I had was working well so I decided to give it a try. It’s a bit startling when I first applied it because it is white but as I brushed it onto my face, it started to turn. It’s a bit dark and orange in my skin but adapts to a closer shade within a few minutes. The true test was how it looked a few hours into the day. My skin was looking exactly the way the ad shows where the foundation gets cakey and unpleasant looking. Prime looked good throughout the day and I was very pleased. I’m 71 and have always cared for my skin but it tends to get really dry. This foundation did well with my skin. I would have liked better coverage. It does provide some but could use a bit more.

Good BUT Dies Not Provide Any/Enough SPF Protection
So far, so good, though I’ve only been using for less than a week. A few months ago, I tried this “chameleon” foundation one time when my sister had begun using it and asked if I’d like to try it. I did, it performed as advertised (matched my skin), but I’d just purchased some pricey foundation and primer, and I’m not one to waste, so I wanted to finish that one. So here I am, a new Prime Prometics user. This color-match foundation goes on as advertised and does match. It looks like a face cream when I “dot” it on my face, but changes as I use my foundation brush (I did not purchase the Prometics brush because I have brushes already, and I do recommend using a brush to apply it.) This does seem to leave a slightly peachy tint on my face, but I’m okay with some color. I’m pretty fair (except for my freckles). I also have patches of malasma, and some redness, and sun spots, all of which I’m working on with the help of my dermatologist. As my first step, I always cleanse, exfoliate, and tone, apply my daytime Rx serums and Rx treatments, then use a face moisturizer with 46 SPF, then a face primer which has 50 SPF, and a color correcting eyelid primer (for my hard-to-hide blue/red pigmentation). I let these each “settle in” for a few minutes after each product layer. Once my “canvas” is prepared, I’m ready for my foundation. I do not believe this Prometics color-match foundation has adequate SPF. I saw somewhere it’s only 15 SPF, so not really much at all. Not enough, anyways. It doesn’t take much product at all, and I found this foundation to apply very easily and “plays well” with my initial layers. The coverage is not sheer! I have very fair skin, and one application of this did a fairly decent job of covering my sun spots and malasma. It did a fair job of covering my blue/red pigmented eyelids, smoothly layering over my primer. This is great foundation for the “no-makeup” look. I did not need a second layer which surprised the heck out of me! It lasts without needing to re-apply, but again I used a primer. It doesn’t settle into my fine lines, which, at 65, I’ve begun seeing a few more of! I have sensitive skin but didn’t experience any adverse skin reactions or irritations at all. I really do like this foundation. Easy to apply, layers well over skin treatments, matches skin tone, lasts all day,…. However…..My only negative is the lack of SPF protection, hence my 3* rating. I saw somewhere it’s only 15 SPF, but even that it does not provide adequate SPF protection against the high UV exposure. I’m kind of a stickler for that these days, and have been using Laura Geller which has 50 SPF. If I’m wrong and this foundation has a higher SPF (at least 30 SPF, but preferably higher) I’ll amend my rating.

Good foundation for dry or mature skin
This foundation delivers what it promises – – it does match my skin color, and there’s no caking even five hours after I’ve put on the foundation. It does have a pretty strong radiance glow, so a little goes a long way. This is not the foundation for you if you like a matte finish (adding powder would probably look too thick or caked). You will definitely want to put on a pore filler first because it does highlight pores.

True match with beautiful results!
This was my second purchase. I'm 78 yrs young, with few sun spots, and this foundation provides complete and even coverage with minimal application. This foundation has saved me tons of money trying to match my skin tone. Not sure how it works, but it blends in beautifully and is very light.

It is awesome! It truly does change to your skin tone! I kept watching advertisements for months and I really wanted to try it. I said to myself no way it comes out white and changes to your skin tone so I finally broke down and ordered it and found out it was definitely true. Best foundation I've ever used!! I will only use this for now on!!

Not for me
This product isn't for me. Instead of a product for mature skin, maybe I need one for ancient skin: I'm 67. It's too orange, especially on the lightest parts of my skin. I don't like the feel of it. It feels heavy. I'm used to not feeling my foundation at all. It's shiny, which doesn't work for me, as I still have some oil in my skin. I REALLY don't like the fragrance. It smells like rose attar mixed with a drug store self tanning product. I have large pores and it left white specs in some of them when I applied it with my fingers. It went on better using a brush, and a pore minimizer. It also seemed better when I worked fast with the brush. When I also put it on my neck, I got a better blend, but it was still too orange for me. It accentuated my pores and fine lines. It might be ok for making online content under fairly bright lights, so I am keeping it for that, but I don't think I will buy this again. I tried one layer, then two. The single layer, lighter coverage wasn't nearly as nice looking as I get with Laura Geller, and two layers really made the pores and lines noticeable. I think the quality is good, just not right for me. I give it two stars instead of three because it did not, satisfactorily, adapt to my skin.

Pleasantly Surprised
This foundation actually works for me. I read all the reviews so did a little test of my own. I think most people are using way too much of this foundation. This may be what is creating the orange or off color. A little goes a long way and if you use a brush it blends a lot more evenly than using your fingers. Just a tiny bit on the brush to smooth over your trouble areas. I tend to use less around my lips and chin area by just blending with the brush. Did not seem to settle into lines and after about 15 minutes it gave a nice glow without being shiny or greasy. It does say to give it a few minutes to get the proper effects. I have oily skin so was a bit skeptical at first but this will be my go to daily foundation.
