  • Very happy
Color: Black Style: NOVA - Green Reticle
Excellent value.Very well made. The center dot has a wide range of adjustment. It can be dialed down at night and turned up during daytime. The MRAD reticle is very crisp. I particularly like the .1 mil adjustments. They are fine enough to allow for precise zeroing. Simple math: To move the reticle 1 mill at any given distance, dial in 10 clicks. It is that simple. No need to convert into MOA. The lens clarity at the edges is not as good as some more expensive scopes, but still completely useable. Eye relief is very generous, especially at 1x setting. ... show more

  • Value and Quality = affordable solution
Color: Black Style: NOVA - Green Reticle
Fantastic scope, once the diopter is dialed in this scope I find better than my more expensive scopes due to the generous eye box. For me with astigmatism this scope is much better than a RED DOT. With the day bright dot it works great as a RED DOT with quick acquisition to target. At this price point I dont think you could do any better. I bought an adapter to side mount a red dot but that is never going to be used as this scope is perfect for room clears and Stability for distance. The throw handle makes adjustment easy to quickly adjust. ... show more

  • Well worth the money
Color: Black Style: NOVA - Red Reticle
Received this four days earlier than anticipated the scoped was in perfect concern I opened the box. After mounting it on my rifle o was more than pleased with the quality of the glass it was crisp and very clear. The red dot is truly super bright at 1x its like running a red dot. I can’t wait to get out to the range to zero the scope in. I also added the shake awake addition to the illumination knob. So far I’m very impressed with the PA SLX 1x6x24. I’ll update this review after I get some rounds down range. ... show more

  • Bright Red dot with the new gen Nova reticle!
Color: Black Style: NOVA - Red Reticle
Pro: +Price for what you get (An second focal plane scope with a very bright red dot thats adjustable) +Upper middle class glass that competes with Vortex glass a tier above +Welcoming entry into the lvpo world thats not cheap Cons: -Finding an outside range as a first-time long-range shooter from the city without a membership is hard. I'm zeroing at 25/100 yards and I want to see just what match grade 556 at 600 yards hits act like from my AR -I will eventually buy a first focal plane lvpo when I grow into true precision shooting (I believe) and understand holdovers and windage. More cash spent. There are a few things that I didn't know about LPVOs that have been both educational and just plain fun to get into. First, as a new lvpo user, I needed to understand that the second focal plane optics have different purposes than FFO's. This is NOT a do-it-all optic, but it does have some very giving traits that have made me confident with this scope. The red dot is amazingly bright in sunlight and at 1x, can be used as a red dot sight (even with scope shadow) since I've already trained with red dots for two years now. Zero distortion on the parameter at 1x. There might be some blurring at 6x, but for 340 bucks you have to take some steps back from perfection. This isn't Vortex top tier gear or even Primary Arms top glass. Last, if using on an AR and installing (on any gun), you will need: 1.A mount (I picked Aero Precision lightweight mount) 2.A torque digital driver 3.A small level (I cant remember if the mount of the scope came with one) 4. Some gun oil/ bike chain oil (for mounting the scope balance and adjustment in the mount) 5. Patience. I had to adjust things several times before it was perfect. 6. An outside range to get a true feel of what weather, humidity, elevation and gravity do to your rounds and gear. And to you! Stay chiseled. ... show more

  • The reticle is intuitive and astonishingly easy to use
Put this scope on my CZ527 Suppressor Ready in 7.62x39 and what can I say? It makes 300 meter shots a breeze. The reticle is intuitive and astonishingly easy to use. It is calibrated exactly to Wolf's 124 grain offering. I allowed an 11 year old son of a friend to try it out and he, having exactly zero prior shooting experience, made five consecutive hits on an 18 inch target at 300 meters, including a hit on his first shot. My only gripe about the scope is that they want you to zero it at 50 meters, which is fine, but at 200 or more the zero required two clicks of windage adjustment to get it perfect. It's not really all that much of a complaint considering that I was making 300 meter offhand hits on an 18 inch steel gong and seemingly couldn't miss after zeroing at 50 meters, I just wanted it to be exactly perfect and it is, and it had held that. Battery life seems long, and after an entire day of shooting, and forgetting it on, it doesn't seem to have gotten dim in the slightest. The scope is rugged, well built, and held zero throughout easily 700 rounds of fire. (Because 7.62x39 is cheap!) If you've got a 300 Blackout or 7.62x39 rifle and want the best possible scope for your cartridge, this is the scope you want. Period. No question. It has features that I would have expected from optics priced at three to four times what this cost. This will be the optic I put on my 300 Blackout AR15 build, and I'm going to buy another one. It is seriously that good. ... show more
