I was skeptical of buying some owls because i seen mixed reviews. I bought these because sparrows kept flying on my partial enclosed front porch and diving at me everytime i came home and they kept making nests on my front porch. Since i bought these about like 6 months ago right before summer i have only had a couple incidents of birds on my porch. For the most part they do keep the birds off my porch, they will fly twords tge entrance and see the owls and turn around. I bought these decoys to scare away two ducks that frequented my pool (and figured it wouldn’t hurt to scare away the tons of other birds). These owls didn’t scare away a single bird and the ducks would hang out right next to them. I had one on the ground, one on some rocks, and one higher up on a post.
