I had never made my own sun catcher before I got this kit. I have several of them, but I've always bought them. I set down with this set and kind of laid out on the floor what I wanted it to look like finished, then just used the pieces that came with it to attach them all together and create art. I was so impressed with my final design and even more so with the ability to make several more with this kit! It was super easy to put it all together and no other tools or materials were needed to complete a sun catcher. The metal and crystals all seem to be of high quality materials and a real value at the price point. But the end results can be whatever you want it to be. Big and bold with lots of designs and crystals/objects, or simple and dainty. Either way it will look spectacular and people will compliment your beautiful artwork!

The set comes in a small case which I was worried about at first. It does in fact have what is pictured, however I thought the larger pieces would be bigger, they are only about 1.5 inches at most for the largest one. I don’t think there are 460 huge pieces, this is including every little hook and item in the box. The stones are plastic, and light. I think glass would be nicer but for the price they are not bad. With that said it does have quite a bit to build a few sun catchers. I need to practice a few more times before this is easier for me.

I am impressed with this suncatcher crafter set. The box comes with everything you need to make several different sun catchers, including the jump rings and pliers. The crystals are even prettier in person, and I like the metal charms, such as the butterfly. The materials seem durable. I am very excited to take on this craft project.
