I almost said, "nice little tree for the money" but that would have been to damn it with faint praise. It's just a really good tree and I'm surprised how good it is for how little it cost. I live in a small house and I'm glad that this doesn't take up a lot of room. I've placed it on a filing cabinet next to my desk. The tree comes "compressed" and you have to open up the branches one at at time. That takes a little time because they all blend in with each other but start with the bottom branches and work your way to the top. The lights are a string of LED's and the only complaint I have about them is that they are very bright and all of them white. It would be nice to have a gentler glow in different colors. But I straightened out the folded string of lights and tried to keep them as deep into the tree as I could, working the string from top to bottom. Moderately difficult. Lots of multi-colored, shiny ornaments help diffuse the lights and add the needed color. In the end, I am quite pleased. Glad I got this and I would buy it again. ... show more

Tree was exactly what I wanted - something small for a tabletop on which to hang miniature ornaments. It was very full once fluffed. I liked that the lights plugged in instead of being battery powered. The ornaments and star that came with it were nice additions.

    • Cute basic tree that can be enhanced
This little tree is great for a tabletop or small space. Easy to assemble. In my opinion, the lights are are too large and bulky for the size of the tree. The lights also require an electrical outlet, limiting placement location. I substituted battery powered LED fairy lights which are much better suited size wise and allows greater flexibility in placement. The 1 inch round ornaments are plenty big and work nicely near the bottom of the tree, but the tree needs more. I added small wooden ornaments as shown in the description along with some smaller round ornaments to achieve my desired look. For the price, this is a nice basic starter that needs embellishments. Crappy tree, it wouldn't stand and smelled like burnt plastic. It says its a full tree which is a lie. I had to take half of the ornaments apart to get the string out of the top. I would not recommend the only reason I gave 1 star is because you have to in order to give a review!

I've been having some construction done in my home that prevented me from being able to have a full size tree in my living room this year so I bought this 22" tabletop tree as a cute, little decoration so the room would still look festive and I'm so glad I did! It came in a very small box that had me a little skeptical as to how it would look when I opened it but it was very easy to put together, came with a full string of lights to drape around the tree, and a canister of mini ornaments to decorate it with. Even though it's after Christmas, I still have the tree up and know it will be very easy to store once I'm ready to take it down. Next year I'll probably return to having a full size tree in my living room but the great thing abou this tree is that it would be easy to put anywhere so I'm thinking it will go in my son's bedroom on his nightstand since I always had a mini tree on mine as a child and remember it fondly!
