Leveling feature: The vertical and horizontal leveling lasers made this easy to use. In fact, it was the one and only tool needed for the job (in this case: a.) putting up Ikea shelves and b.) hanging an Alexa Show 15. My roommate will use it when he builds his own shelves in the laundry room later this year. Works well: The magnet on the wall facing component means you don't have to worry about leveling that part. Just turn the laser level component (which attaches to that magnet) until the liquid level is center. Then you can use the lasers to align the holes to either drill or nail (in our use cases: drill). You may consider setting up the Prexio Multi Surface Laser LED device next to the area you wish to use for hanging 2-dimensional art. I use chalk to mark the intersection points with the laser, and most pictures are easily hung. I have also used this device for two of the most difficult pieces we own-- one is a framed collage. It is heavier on one side than the other! Centering the piece was easy. However, we installed two heavy-duty hangers, which had to be a little off center for the artwork to hang level over the mantel. I recommend this device to anyone who plans to hang multiple pieces of art, or photos, etc., and wishes to maintain a certain quality of space around each piece, and especially if the ceiling or walls lack equidistance (especially if the pictures are varying in size). ... show more

The price of this item does wonders for the quality of this item. I use it for any and every install, very accurate the battery lasts long and i also liked that the lights dont come on until its connected to the base.

It does what it claims to do. My last one was self-leveling, and that was very nice. It only did a straight line, and this one does allow for various angles, but you spend more time leveling it. It's a little hard to level the bottom of picture frames. The laser scatters some near objects and doesn't make a perfect red line. It does pretty well on an open wall. ... show more

This leveling device works well. It uses red beams that allow you to mark an entire wall, the beam also lights up a parralell wall at the corner of a room. This was especially handy for installing curtains over multiple walls. It was also great for hanging multiple pictures to make sure they were all at the same height. It was very accurate, but does take a little bit of work to mount it level on the wall if you have textured walls. It's very lightweight, comes with pins to mount to the wall to allow you to use both hands on mounting your project. This was a great value for the money. ... show more
