The PrepWorks by Progressive Flour ProKeeper storage container combines high quality construction with a silicone seal for air-tight storage. The 4 quart storage container has measurement markings clearly display remaining flour. The leveling bar clips across the bin for easy, mess free measuring, or it can snap and store under the lid and there is an easy-catch latch that holds the lid tightly closed. The patent pending stainless steel hinges swing wide open for no-fuss access to fill or measure and will fit into the dishwasher for easy care. The Flour ProKeeper will easily hold a 5 lb. bag of flour with room to spare and measures 8" L x 6.5" W x 8.25"H. This is the perfect storage container for my pancake flour. This container is not too big and not too small. It is clear so you know when it's time to buy more mix, and it's made of thick plastic, so if it drops it won't break. It has a very secure sealing system that makes it air tight to keep freshness in and insects out. One of my COVID projects was getting my pantry/cabinets organized. I started with OXO Pop containers (love OXO, but not a great seal if, say, baking soda gets into/on the rubber seal), then I tried Rubbermaid Brilliance (love these; great seal), then I found these Progressive storage containers. They're a *little* more expensive but SO worth it, as it's commensurately higher in quality/utility. So far I have purchased the sugar container (love the pourable opening), the flour container (love the built in leveler), and the grain container (love that it comes w/a scoop). It's those extra functional touches that sold me. Again, GREAT seal that will pay off with longer storage time for my pantry staples. ... show more

the flour keeps nicely in it. I like that it holds a full 4 pounds of flour with room to scoop out what you need. I did not keep the scrapper in as I like to spoon my flour into the measuring cups.

    • Good container, not a great latch
I initially bought the multipack with all the various container sizes and loved it. I ended up purchasing another for more bread flour but the latch didnโ€™t seem to latch as tightly. Iโ€™m sure itโ€™s just a one off in the manufacturing and I didnt want to deal with the hassle of returning and it works well enough to get the job done. ... show more
