It would’ve been much easier to assemble, if the parts were actually labeled. I think only two of the parts, for the draws were labeled, everything else was just guessing where it goes. This armoire is the best I’ve seen online. It has all the qualities I was looking for. The inner space is perfect for hanging regular clothes and the drawers are larger than most other armoires. some of the other armoires I was looking at were not deep enough to hang a shirt or coat so I’m glad this has ample space. I wanted something that would look classy and was sturdy at the same time. This fits both of my requirements. If I were to buy this elsewhere, for the quality, I could’ve easily paid upwards of $700. I noticed the complaints about the hinges and doors not matching but in reality that’s a simple fix as long as you have a screwdriver and can manipulate the hinges to go up and or down with a shim or a screwdriver to push the doors up or down. I used a small screwdriver covered in cloth (so as to not scratch the surface) at the bottom so that I could match up the doors evenly and when I had them set in place, I tightened the screws in place. It took a couple of times to get it right but in no way was this a deal breaker. It takes a little while to get everything lined up especially if you’ve never put furniture together. I had my 25 year old son do it to gain experience and at first he was flustered but he got it done right after a couple of hours. It was for him anyway so why shouldn’t he get the fun of putting it together? I hope this gives you confidence enough to purchase it. It’s a great unit and we love our purchase. Overall this is a good wardrobe. It is sturdy and not terribly hard to assemble. It’s better with two people but you could possibly do it alone. Nothing is marked, so you have to organize the parts, and unlike other kits I have assembled there wasn’t any extra hardware, and we did break a part and have to find a replacement in our stash of leftover parts. The piece is sturdy and solid, only complaint was one piece is cut slightly too short, so it let a gap that was noticeable from the outside. We covered with black tape. That was the only bad part. Assembly was a bit daunting but the end result was worth it. This wardrobe is beautiful and well built, definately worth the money. The only problem, it came missing pieces. Which of course was very disappointing. The hardware used to slide 1 of the drawers in and out wasn't included in the packaging. I've contacted the company and requested replacements today (June 4, 2020) hopefully they arrive soon. I will update my review with my customer service experience once I receive the parts or..... if it doesn't go well lol UPDATE: I requested the replacement part June 4th and received it June 15th. Requesting the part was simple and painless, I just filled out a request form on their website with the part number, quantity, and shipping info. I received a confirmation email the same day. It was a bit of a wait, longer than the company told me to expect in the confirmation email they sent, but with everything going on in the world lately I figure a small delay isn't a big deal. Now that I've been able to finish putting everything together I can honestly say I love this wardrobe. It looks great! Definitely worth the money! ... show more

I think it's sturdy for the price. But the chemical smell hasn't faded after over a year. It hasn't given a smell to the clothing inside but I keep it closed at night when my kids go to sleep so they don't breathe the garbage chemicals.
