I typically don't write reviews. The night stand is great. As expected pretty sturdy. The top of it was quite hefty so it felt quite posh. The only gripe is the parts are not marked expect for the drawers but it's really easy once you get the hang of it The thing that blew my mind though is their customer service. I had this thing sitting in a box for over a year and only assembled it after a year. Two screws were missing in the box. I sent one email to them and they sent the missing parts to me. This kind of customer service definitely would make me consider prepac as my top choice for my next piece. ... show more

They're okay. I mean you get what you pay for they're cheap nightstands and they look and function like cheap nightstands. The drawers are pretty deep but they don't hold as much as I thought they would hold. They look pretty decent however they have a veryy strong smell, which I've heard is very dangerous to be breathing in. I wish I could have let my bedroom air out for a few days before I had to sleep in it. The instructions could be easier, it was quite the frustration trying to put these together smh. Purchased 2 for my grandmothers guest bedroom. Great solid piece of furniture. All hardware was easy to figure out. I used a power tool for everything , as there were a lot of pieces actually. Directions didn’t really tell you what to do just a plain picture. Also, pieces were not marked with any stickers. I ultimately figured out it and still give 5/5. Second one was definitely easier to assemble 😉 Grandma loves them! ... show more

I got this and the matching 6 drawer dresser to redecorate my room. I wanted a very monochromatic black white and gray type of vibe. The nightstand is cute, but it’s pretty flimsy. I wish I would have waited to buy some wood glue before I assembled it. When I opened the package, sawdust got on everything it came into contact with. Nothing was damaged but it also came with a black paint marker for touch ups. It’s pretty cheap material but it’ll do the job. I spruced it up with some crystal knobs and it looks much nicer. But I would definitely recommend using wood glue when you assemble it. The drawer tracks and screw holes were all aligned properly for mine, and the drawers slide in and out properly. The back of the nightstand is a cheap cardboard type material that you nail into the back, and it’s not fitted properly so you can still see part of the wood in the back. ... show more

It was easy to put together, no parts missing. The top had some sort of glue marks that I mostly was able to remove, but not completely. Luckily the items we placed on the dresser like a lamp covered what was left.

Easy to assemble: I was able to assemble in less than 2 hours, by myself, and all I used was a screwdriver and a hammer. The only thing that could have helped more would be having the parts labeled (C2, C3, etc), but the directions were pretty clear to me. Appearance: The nightstand looks like the picture. I bought the dark brown, and it matches my other dark brown furniture! The materials were not flimsy particle board, so it came together nicely. Cons: There were a few minor scratches on the drawers, but the marker it came with worked well to hide them! ... show more

    • Beautiful, but pressboard off-gassing is overwhelming

This looks lovely, and provides ample bedside storage space. It took my handyman 2 hours to assemble, and he is a very diligent, fast worker. This is why I gave it 2 stars for assembly. It cost me $114 + $60, so $174. The off-gassing is atrocious. Opening the package, we were hit hard by the odor. I know there are various versions of pressboard available, I’ve no idea of the rating on this one. It’s been 5 days since assembly, still overpowering. This is complicated by the fact it is in my bedroom. If it wasn’t winter I would open a window. I do have a fan going constantly. I’d suggest after assembly, storing it away from any occupied living space for however long it takes to become less toxic. Maybe the manufacturer could store the pieces in a warehouse before boxing? I’m not sure of the sturdiness, I’d advise moving it with two people to provide overall support. My overall rating would be a 4, if not for the off gassing. It looks great! Much better design than the other options I viewed on Amazon, and other sites. The same item was sold on other sites at a much higher price. Three days later: I have had two fans going 24 hours a day, and it still makes my eyes burn, and makes my nose stuffy to even go into the room to move the fans. The big Pacific Northwest freeze is over, so I cracked the windows in the unused room that it's in. So, add three days of electricity costs of two fans running 24 hours a day. I love that it matches my flooring!! It was very easy to assemble ( no need for a drill just a hammer and a couple screwdrivers). It is very sturdy and perfect for beside my bed to fill in an empty corner. I am going to buy another for another place in my bedroom because I love it so much.
