I LOVE this chest of drawers. I love the look, the smoothness of the drawers. Having been in the market for one for a long time, this is a great piece that is reasonably priced but is not cheap and nasty. It is a lot to put together for one person but it's perfectly doable. I am very good at building furniture but it took even me a few hours over two nights after work to get it done (the drawers are tedious but not difficult) You may need someone to help you lift it at the half way point to put the back on - I managed to get the middle piece (which has to attach ½ a foot off the floor - I put stuff under it that matched the height I needed) but I'm stubborn and I should have asked someone to lift it for me. The materials feel like I should have paid more than $250 on sale. The drawers fit more than they look like they should and though the black coating can be easily scratched (I suggest putting a blanket down before you start construction) it is magnificent. Recently bought this dresser due to the size and the color I was wanting. It wasn't to bad putting together as long as you take your time and read/follow the instructions carefully, which were easy to understand. When it came to putting the top on it was discovered to be damaged, which occurred during delivery. Additionally one of the knobs would not screw in. I ended up reaching out to the company and after explaining the situation they quickly resolved it by sending out a new top and knob. Once I was finally able to get it fully put together. The size and drawer space fits my needs. Others have said the wood/finishing can easily be nicked, which is true. I advise when moving it or putting stuff on top to be very careful. ... show more

I love this dresser. It looks great too. I bought it to go with other bedroom pieces of furniture that have a similar look and color and it blended well. Very sturdy and is a great value for the money. I put it together within a couple of hours by myself. All parts were there. The reason for 4 stars and not more is that one of the drawers tends to stick a bit but we are used to it now. Maybe it will go away after a while. Still, love the look of it. ... show more

    • Missing Parts (C12, C-13) & Unlabeled Pieces – Cannot Complete Assembly

The parts are not labeled at all, which made assembly far more difficult than it should be. I even hired help to assemble furniture this weekend, and they struggled because there’s no clear way to identify the pieces. Worse, parts (C12 & C13) were completely missing from the package—never included—so the dresser cannot be completed. It looks nice and it's a pretty good size as seen in the picture but it was delivered banged up and has scuff marks all over. Not sure if that's the manufacturer's fault or just the delivery itself; I can say that it's pretty durable if it survive that kind of beating during shipment The quality feels pretty good but it's been a week since delivery and the dress is half assembled in my bedroom with pieces everywhere. I have contacted support and am waiting for a resolution. I will update this review if and when the issue is properly resolved. ... show more

Directions: as a 28yo female, I felt like the directions were easy to follow. They are detailed enough to make the steps easy to follow. I highly recommend having a power tool instead of screw driver to speed the process! It took me about 2 hours to do a dresser and two matching nightstands! Sturdiness: this is a 300 dresser, I feel like the quality reflects that. It seems sturdy, the amount of screws prove it’s going to uphold decently! Weight: the box was 140 pounds, shout out to the delivery guy for bringing it inside for me! Overview: The grey color is slightly darker than pictured, I would buy it again I feel like. The drawers aren’t super deep- but the dimensions are listed so I take the fault there! ... show more

When I first received this item, two pieces were broken. I reached out to Prepac through email, as instructed in the manual, and they responded asking me for my address so they could ship me replacement pieces. I wrote back, never to hear from them again. I tried giving them a call, left a voicemail, nothing. I reached out to Amazon and they offered to replace the whole dresser, have me switch out the broken pieces, and make a return. I accepted, but something happened during shipment which resulted in Amazon having to cancel the new order and place another order. When I finally received the new dresser, it arrived damaged as well. This whole ordeal has taken a month for me to sort out, so I decided not to bother trying to get this last order right. Overall, this dresser is beautiful, despite the aforementioned cosmetic flaws; It matches another tall dresser I own. I'd say it's worth purchasing, but just keep in mind, it might arrive damaged and the process to resolve the issue might be a long one. ... show more

The instructions for assembling the product were clear. However, the quality of the product was not what I expected, at least not how it appears in the photos. I am attaching some photos here so that other customers have the opportunity to see the quality of the product and better evaluate their purchase or consider other options. Some of the photos show the quality of the material and the product's paint. The other photos are of two drawers that arrived broken, even though the box showed no signs of damage, and those parts were packed in the middle of all the other wooden pieces. So, it must have come like that from the factory, not due to delivery. Another photo shows the knob of one of the drawers, where the thread was made too shallow for the length of the screw that goes into it. The product doesn’t come with extra parts for situations like mine, where we had to add extra washers so the knob wouldn’t stay loose. Thank you 🙏 ... show more
