When I ordered this as a gift from a wish list...I didn't realize I'd be spending hours putting it together. It comes shipped in a 70 lb box about 4 ft longa and 4 inches high and 2 feet deep. It is much like an Ikea piece in terms of assembly. I gave it 3 stars on that issue...but it is only fair to say that the assembly itself was easy and every piece fit perfectly when assembled correctly. I suggest laying out all parts first and reading through the assembly which is broken into two parts...furniture cabinet and drawers. Since the finish is on ONE side only...you have to be careful to follow part #'s and instructions precisely. Ask me how I know! I am really happy with the finished product which uses VERY dense mdf and the drawers on glider rails work well. Would definitely buy again for the quality in the price range. ... show more

I love this dresser! After a disappointing experience with Wayfair where the dresser I bought was difficult to construct, wobbly, and eventually only partially functional (I stuck it out for a year), I knew I needed a new dresser at a good price point. This was exactly the color and style I was looking for and I was very happy to get it for under $200, although a little nervous about what the quality would be like. It turns out I had nothing to be worried about--this dresser is exactly the color I was looking for and very sturdy (it's actually very heavy--the sturdiness owes in part to the fact that the back of the dresser is a panel the same thickness and material as the top and sides, not cardboard like you'll see with some cheap furniture). It doesn't wobble at all, the drawers glide like a dream, and I was able to put it together myself in a couple of hours with minimal frustration. I also appreciated that it shipped with lots of extra padding inside the box to minimize any damage during transit. This is the perfect dresser if you're looking for mid-century modern style on a budget and need a dresser for a tight space--my apartment's bedroom is so small that I can only fit a dresser in the space pictured, so it was important to me that I got a dresser that was small enough for the space while still holding all my clothes (I actually think these drawers are larger than the drawers of my previous dresser). For me, the little touches on this dresser really make it worth it. The solid wood legs are very stylish, and the included drawer pulls are made of a nice metal and add some subtle shine. The finish on the MDF actually looks decently like real wood too--it doesn't strike me as cheap. However, I'd still be careful with how you treat the surface--I placed a glass of water on the top, and the large amount of condensation did leave a slight bubble on the finish, although it's only noticeable now if you know where to look. Usually when you buy furniture like this, there's always something off when you try to put it together - the holes don't line up or they're the wrong size or something silly that just makes it harder and more frustrating. This furniture was not like that at all. The instructions were a bit hard to understand in some parts but after we figured it out, everything went together perfectly. It was time consuming for sure and this furniture won't last forever, but it's really good quality for the price. Definitely use a power drill when you put it together or it might take you the rest of your life to finish. ... show more

The unit is good-looking, but the assembly is nasty, no parts are marked with the letters they have on the instructions, so not sure why these letters are even on the instructions. I definitely didn't have a pleasant time assembling the unit.

The drawers all have different gap sizes. A little embarrassing looking. Not like the photos advertised. This is a quality control issue because all holes a pre drilled. That meant a they weren’t measured correctly. It’s functional and it was hard work assembling so I’m keeping it. The hardest part is actually getting the feet on. They should’ve designed the screws for the feet to be compatible with a power screw driver. They made them for a tiny Allen wrench, and they are extremely difficult to get in. I ordered this chest along with the 6 drawer dresser and 2 night stands. The dresser also had issues but is going to function. Haven’t assembled the night stands yet. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Very nice dresser. Assembly is long, but the end product is beautiful. Goes well with my IKEA round mirror. Legs do not extend beyond the side of dresser.
